Copper with a ton of unfiltered sediment. Sweet aroma with hints of alcohol. Eases into a mildy carbonated mouthfeel and concludes with caramel and Roman candy. Even my wife liked it and that’s rare. Place I bought it from had to discount it to move it and that’s a shame because this is a good beer. Guess I need to go buy some more!

Bottle, 33cL. 8%. Gift from Tonton Si-LIP. Home. A sparkling amber beer with scarlett hues ; big off-white foamy head ; good retention ; ok lacing. I guess that's a 5 looks like... Roast, caramel, alcohol, herbal note. Medium round warming sweet, light dry. Medium body, thin to average oily texture, soft carbonation, sweet warming finish. Overall, correct.

From a bottle purchased in Alsace. Pours a clear amber with an ecru head. Malty nose. Flavors of caramel with some pit fruit notes. Fairly sweet, but decent flavor.

McTapps (6976) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - FEB 25, 2017
The beer has got a hazy golden-amber colour with a small head and medium body. Aroma of malt and yeast. taste of yeast, malt, bread, barley and mild fruits. Metallic finish.

Clear ochre liquid, small head. Weak aroma of malt. Light body, strong carbonation. Taste is bitter, a bit sweet.

Renobob (2064) - Besançon, FRANCE - APR 7, 2016
Bue en bouteille de 33cl. Mauvaise bière forte. Mal équilibré, maltée principalement. Aucun intérêt à part se faire mal au crane.

Hopverdju (1495) - BELGIUM - MAR 2, 2016
Amberkleurig bier met weinig wit schuim. Geur: Wat is dit? Machine olie, smeerolie. Smaak: wat alcoholisch, metaal, mandarijn, gist, zoetige appels. Sorry, ruikt en smaakt niet lekker.

Erzengel (9497) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - APR 12, 2015

Bottle from La Bresse. Dark amber, medium head. Aroma honey and lemon, some spices. Medium body. Taste quite sweet, gingerbread. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It was a 50cl bottle Mat! Flip-top and neat looking packaging. The actual beer was OK too. Shared between 5, cheers Luc for bringing this to the December Shrewsbury Bottle Share meeting (8th Dec 2014). Poured a dark amber with a beige head. Caramel and toffee esters filled the nose and the taste carried on in the same way: sweet malty molasses all the way with this beer. My sweet tooth liked it a lot.

330ml bottle, shared between 5 at the Tenth Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Dec 14, thanks to Luc. Firstly, what a great bottle this is. You really don’t see this every day. Pours dark brown with a slight haze and small beige head. Sweet malty caramel aroma. Taste is caramel with a slight spice. Sweet and lovely.
