From tap at Bøker & Børst with BHK 26.07.15. Aroma of overripe tropical fruits and marmelade. Taste of ripe papaya and other tropical fruits. Medium bitterness. djoeye (5210) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 16, 2015
Off white head, near clear deep golden body, tight even lacing. Lots of hops in scents, not too strong though, and some kind of milkish malts. Tastes a wooden blend of roasted malts and leafy hops. Fruity-wooden-caramellic. Finishes in soft polished malts, old milk, apricotish creamy hops. Soft carbonation and good body. Original blend. Tap @ Pingvinen, Bergen. This brew is floral through and through; aroma, gaste, palate - the works. The breadth and depth of hoppiness os really spectacular. A great pale ale! mcberko (18977) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 26, 2015
On tap at UNA Bryggeri, pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Nose is quite hoppy for a pale ale, with stone fruits and biscuity malt to back. Flavour follows accordingly, with tropical fruits, resinous hops and biscuity malt. Well-balanced and quite a bit more interesting than most pales. Great stuff. Tap, Henrik’s, Bergen, 27/10/14. Heaped, slightly burnished honey amber. Bright resinous aroma awash with sticky hop cone, corking fresh Rubicon guava and lychee, mint and strawberry pushing a 9. Beautiful crisp stewed hop flavour with grapefruit, honey, peach, dragon fruit and curry leaf-like impressions reminiscent of old school Punk. Honeycomb freshness begging a session. The best Norwegian beer I’ve tasted. Finn (8149) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 24, 2014
Fra kran på Ølhallen 18 Nov 14. Uklar. Aprikosfarget. Lavt skum. God ferskenaroma. Smaken er syrlig frukt. Variert. Litt tørr. Avslutter veldig tørt.
