UPDATED: NOV 25, 2017 The sticker on my can says 4.5%, but I can see 5.5% peeking out from underneath. Unlike a lot of the comments below, my can has no shortage of vanilla. I also get chocolate and roasted malts, but the vanilla dominates. Taste is sweet and creamy thanks to the lactose, and kind of reminds me of drinking a vanilla coke. I like how much flavour this packs into such a low ABV, but I could actually do with less vanilla (you can't win with beer nerds). Still solid. Boutip (6562) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 16, 2017
Can: Poured a black color stout with a huge brown color head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt notes with some black chocolate and vanilla notes also perceptible. Taste is also a mix of roasted malt notes with vanilla and black chocolate notes with hints of residual sugar notes. Body is full with nice creamy texture with good carbonation. Very enjoyable but I was expecting vanilla notes even more upfront. czar (9501) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 15, 2017
can. pours almost black with a very nice reviving medium dark crema cap, nicely lacing onto glass. rich chocolate maltiness, charred but never burnt complex caramel, no roasting acidity, some sweetness - vanilla-infused dark raspberry and blackberry coulis/sauce, clean fruity yeast action. moderate to low carbonation, light body - very oily; semi-sweet vanillin-earthy finish. skillful vanilla/lactose dosage - very good sweet stout.

Canette - 355ml.

2017-10-20. Black body, modest tan head. 3++ Aroma has light dusty roast character and a light tang, possibly lactose. Flavour is interesting, lightly bitter roast with a sweetish base. Some subtle nuances to it. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. 7/4/7/3/16 Cask Days 2017, Toronto. thorongil2 (3488) - , Ontario, CANADA - OCT 28, 2017
