Skunky aroma. Very clear yellow, thin disipitating head. Medium carb. Nice smooth sweet flavour, hint of nuts or something. I cant get to it but its sweet and strange. Kind of like the odd taste. Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 13, 2006
Bottle, Tesco. Quite dark for the style, a deep gold. Aroma of straw and sugary malt. To taste this is soft, sweet with very little hops and not an awful lot of character. Sweet aftertaste. It’s not bad as a pale lager, which is what I think it is stylewise because of the lack of hops. greenmanalishi (551) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 23, 2006
500ml bottle which, in typical Tescos trend, very closely resembles the Budvar bottle! Golden colour, thin head. Very faint aroma. Hint of fruitiness, quickly taken over by overall bland impression, clinging, artificial finish. Price, at just £1 a bottle, is definitely somewhat of a balancing factor. dj (620) - Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2006

Bottle, 500ml, 5% ABV. A golden pour with a small head. Aroma of sweet Czech hops, a little spice. Flavour of fresh hops, spice, some underlying citrus. High carbonation. Not bad at all.

Bottle, 500ml. A small but lasting head. An aroma of malt after the initial pour (perhaps some fruit with a little imagination), but after a minute it’s gone. Light golden appearance. A nice hoppy, slightly bitter finish. Moderate carbonation. Not the best lager in the world, but certainly not the worst either. stouby (4669) - Holbæk, DENMARK - APR 17, 2006
Bottle, at home.
Golden with a large white head. Aroma moderate malty and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium body, soft carbonated.

Bottled from Tesco at £1 for 500ml you cannot really complain at that price as it’s certainly on a par with similar standard lagers of this type. light golden coloured, not much aroma, easy drinking, nothing special ok lager. iammadeofjelly (194) - Liverpool, Merseyside, ENGLAND - NOV 16, 2005
Light golden colour, thin head, well chilled by me. It’s kinda thin on the flavour aswell, a lil sweet. There isn’t anything complicated going on here. The smeel is faint and fairly grassy. Its artificially carbonated, it says on the bottle, thats understandable its making me burp. To be honest it’s not that bad, a bit stella artoisy. has a bit of a tingly aftertaste. Not bad, awesome price £1 a big bottle. quaffable beer. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2005
Golden colour with not much of a head. My bottle had quite vigorous carbonation. Taste was not very bitter with more malt than most beers of this type. Easy drinking, but not a lot to remember. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2005
Bottled. A copper coloured lager which looks a little lifeless in the glass. The aroma is fairly sweet and malty and there is a hint of butter as well. The taste is on the sweet and malty side and is fairly smooth and doesn’t have that lagerish grassy bite common in others of this style. leaparsons (10606) - Wigston, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - APR 10, 2005
Bottle from Tesco. Golden with a small bubbly white head. Aromas are sweet grain with some butter. Flavours are sweet grain, again and buttery (again) with dry, bitter hops to finish. Very bloating and very simple.
