3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From 500ml bottle at Papsoe tasting, May 2011. Very lively pour. Mid gold colour. A bit cloudy. Thick fluffy head. Yeasty aroma with a hint of farmyard. Slightly spicy edge on the palate with light tangy hops. A bit sweet though. Pleasant and quite interesting if hardly a typical premium lager. Definitely has a suspicion of estery Belgian character. Whether it is meant to be like this I have no idea but it works OK.
Bottle, 0.5l. Clear yellow pour with minimal white head, leaving good lacing. Thin layer stays on top throughout the whole drink. Nose is malty, grainy and a bit herbal. Subtle hops.
Thin body, light texture. Regular carbonation, a bit on the softer side, smooth on the tongue. Balanced taste, a bit malty, subtle caramel sweetness followed by mildly bitter earthy hops. Grassy, grainy, a bit hay. Well pronounced hoppy character, nice. Dry mouthfeel and finish.
Overall, good one. Came out better then expected. A decent thirst quencher and - if available - a much better choice then regular Croatian macros. hrabren (1175) - Zagreb, CROATIA - FEB 3, 2016
Been drinking this since I was a child. Clear golden, small to medium rather firm white head. Malty aroma, I remember it having more floral aromas. Some citrus from hops. Medium carbonation, thin to medium body, strong malty background. Light finish. Still ok. fugitive (1995) - Athens, GREECE - JUN 15, 2015

A lot of cereal and honey. Malty mouth that is fairly sweet, but fairly well balanced. Sweet malty finish. better than expected. branko (67) - Zagreb, CROATIA - FEB 3, 2015
Probably one of the worst beers I have ever tasted. Smelled and tasted like aluminium bowl. Sits very heavy on stomach. Skunky aroma, oily texture. Bottle instruction says that it should be served from 3 - 5 C with lemon. Maybe that would help. Very bad.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with a very decent white frothy head. Mild malty aroma with quite some fruity and sweet notes - very nice. Taste is malty, sweet, with a bit of bitterness in the finish. Refreshing, easy to drink, although not much there taste-wise. Decent motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 27, 2014
