Bottle, thanks to Pivnizub. Chestnut, foamy golden head. Caramel, light smoked nut, and a hint floral hop aroma. Roasted, light nutty malt, caramel, light middle - a bit too light, would have loved a hint more chewyness. Heather, metallic earthy finish. Quite fresh. chriso (7533) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2006
Bottle, at Kookfest, September 2006. Bronze colour. Caramel and doughy malt in the aroma. More of the same on the palate, with spicy hops coming through. Clean and smooth. Interesting and flavoursome stuff.

Bottle. Clear rich amber with a beige head. Dark malts in the nose with a little chocoalte and toast, sweetish. Toasty taste with a major floral component, nutty. Caramel is big up front. Doesn’t really end. Consistency of water. Interesting take on a new style, worth repeating. Thanks to pivnizub! SilkTork (5729) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2006
Kook’s Farewell Session. A polotmave. A dark Czech lager. Soft, darkly malty. Good balance. Drinkable and very tasty. Alengrin (5270) - BELGIUM - SEP 12, 2014
Never thought I actually had the style defined as ’polotmavy’ on this site, till I stumbled upon an old rating of this one. Moussy, sticky head, brownish copper colour; caramelly aroma with spicy hops and some ’nuttiness’. Malty taste, smooth, caramelly, hint of toasted bitterishness in the finish along with Bohemian, aromatic hops. Quite enjoyable and thirst-quenching.

Bottle @ Kookfest. Sweetish bready malts and caramel. Some mild hop in the finish. Nice sweet malts but not really my thing. armando629 (2456) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAR 30, 2011
0,5 l bottle. bought at the brewery, Pivovarsky shop, Vyskov.kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - SEP 6, 2006
Mahagony colored one with a froathy tan head that collapses quickly, melt down to a small lacing one. Moderated, meaningless aroma with some caramel and malt, sourish yeast, hops nowhere...Thin body, caramel and some bready malt taste, sourish yeast blended with some caramel, sweet malt, minimal hop. Not my style.
Bottle (Chris_o Gathering06): Lovely malty biscuits with caramel. Copper in colour. Nice stuff.
