12% light beer of Pilsner type with an average 5,0% vol. proof that is being paid increased attention in respect to technology and raw materials selection during the production process. The maturing process in lager cellars lasts 60 days at low temperatures. This is a medium-bodied bier with medium to strong crisp flavour, soft bitterness and light amber colour. The bier contains the highest amount of hops. The bitter flavour of hops supports appetite. We advice serving at temperatures 8-10°C.

I had this one on a hot evening in July. That made the beer better I suspect. There wasn’t as much of that dirty pilsner aftertaste that I normally get. It was a nice refresher with a name I couldn’t pronounce.

Bottled (as Vyskovské Czech Beer). Deep golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is sweet malts, hay, some hops as well as mild notes of fruits. Flavour is quite much the same, a very bulk feeling to it.

Bottle from Market Street Wine Shop, Downtown, Charlottesville. Orange pour with a small head. Aroma is very grainy. Very grainy, cereal like taste with a bit of caramel and some kind of fruitiness. Medium body. Overall very pleasant.

Nagyon kellemes főzet,de nekem egy kicsit édes volt ahhoz képest hogy pilseninek adják.Azért messze veri az átlag lágereket!

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2009 Nice amber color and foamy white head. Yeastly and maltly aroma, light hop perfume.. Typical lager mouthfeel, little hop taste. Fine, drinkable.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2008 Lovely amber-gold color, though very little aroma. Rich flavor with a little bite, though much smoother than other Czech pilsners. Finishes fairly clean, though does leave a slight sweetness

Pours a dark clear yellow with lots of bubbles and a bubbly fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet honey and malt with the slightest grassiness. Flavor is sweet, honeyish, slight lemon but not tart, and a malty sweet finish. Mouthfeel medium. Overall, different than what I was expecting, but good.

bottle from Pivni Galerie. Clear golden yellow, large white head. Full-bodied and malty, pleasantly hopps with Saaz hops flavours. A good one!

A random find in my neck of the woods. A cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. The aroma was quite floral with some grassy notes and lemons. The flavor was slightly bitter but mostly malty with some creamed corn, lemons, and herbal notes. This one reminds me of Budvar which I like. Overall a nice pils!

Medium yellow, clear, slight head fades quickly. Aroma is of pale malts, a touch of honey sweetness, and some softly floral hops. Somehow though, this wasn’t working for me with this beer. Solidly malty lager, with very limited hop character. What was there was faintly floral, but more than anything else, this was malty sweet. Not my thing, too bad. I should note that I usually am way above the average score on pils beers, not way below.
