Pours a bronzy redish colour with strong off white head which disapates quickly. Sweetish nose, some slight fragrance of hop. Taste is balanced, sweet upfront and mid pallete with a slightly bitter finish. Hops are very light but do help to round out the sweet malt. Love it. petexner (935) - CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 21, 2010

A amber color beer, with richer malt character, and floral hop mixture, served from tap. Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 20, 2006
UPDATED: MAY 22, 2006 Dark gold, well carbonated and feeding a lasting 1-inch cream. There has to be a good proportion of pils malt in there, it procures a very pleasant crisp balance between the vienna’s sourdough meets soft nutty caramel, rather sweet display and the pils’ toasty, hay-like, fresh flavours. Underlying hops are genuinely full of czech character, oily, grassy, not overexpressive, but positioned how and where they need to be and luckily cutting short the sweetness aspirations it shows in the first half. Excellent texture, medium body with the oiliness giving a certain richness impression despite being a moderately light lager. Adequate medium carbonation invites to the next sip. A simplistic approach that shows most efficient. I would have cracked open another one right after drinking this one. Quite fresh 500mL, BB late september. (Bottle) Surprisingly flavourful lager. Good body with observable alcoholic mouthfeel. Mellow maltedness keeps in good balance. Lasting white cloud atop a plain golden grass. Thomasalias (320) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 29, 2011
0,5l bottle from Prague. Beautiful apperance. Clear deep reddish amber color with beige colored medium head. Caramel aroma, a bit like pilsners, but sweeter. Light bitter taste. Light body with creamy-slick texture and lively carbonation. Bitter-sweet finish. It’s a very beautiful and delicious lager. rgf001 (324) - Austin, Texas, USA - OCT 22, 2015
Caramelly Saaz aromas. Simple malt and caramel taste with good Saaz flavor and firm bitterness.
Nice palate and dry hoppy finish that invites further drinking.
