14.03.2010 (from de Bierloods) Light brown color, with creamy beige head. Aroma some chocolate sweetness, liquorice. Medium body. Taste roasted malts, sweet, some bitterness, not a great beer.

JorisPPattyn (10061) - BELGIUM - JUL 17, 2009
Very good, dense creamcoloured head, disappearing over clear orange-chestnut coloured beer. If chocolate-cola exists, then it must smell as this. Aquarian plants with brown candi sugar. Weird. Utterly horrible liquorice + burnt grains flavour. Sweet, leafy and creeping acrid bitterness, verging towards sourness. Burning MF, alcoholburn, sharp, on the verge of acrimonious. I wonder if it is really meant to taste as such, but the bottle seems OK. Tastes as if Oud Bruin was attempted with chemical tricks.

BoBoChamp (5755) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUN 4, 2009
33cl, exclusive brew, from De Bierloods Adegem, complex brew, not balanced, hazy, good head, nice brew
