3.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours amber brown. Aroma of barnyard and wet dog. Fizzy, light to medium body Malty and lightly sweet, clean finish with no bitterness.
Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Andover Liquors. Appearance is light orange with yellow-green tinge, fair sparkle, finger-width foamy head with poor retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is tart funkiness (not sure is intentional)--almost metallic in nature--over bread with citrus. Taste is tart/metallic over bread/caramel and light resin. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this feels very retro, but not in a cool way. Skippable. blynde77 (24) - - NOV 11, 2017
This beer is better than pretty much all Wachusett beers (although that isn't saying much). It's not a go to beer by any means, and it's lack of quality hop aroma and flavor make me question if it's a true pale, but it actually might be a decent choice on a golf course.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a golden amber with a small white head. The aroma is heavy on malt with some caramel. The taste is just like the nose. A really good beer.

Bottle pours a hazy copper golden quick fizzy light tan head. Grainy light malt flavors. Some hop character and fair bitterness. Some wet paper malt notes at the end. DiarmaidBHK (6143) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 22, 2016
Draft at pastoral pizza. Pours golden with a thin white head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Not much on the nose. Solid leafy hop notes on the tongue. Finished clean. Solid but not spectacular.

Tap. Amber colored. Earthy nose, lemon, grass, chewy malts. Rounded, estery, fruity flavor, peaches and oranges, some biscuits. Decent drinking beer, though nothing special. jmikolich (1486) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - JAN 10, 2014
Tap at Devens grill, nice bubbly light bodied stuff, sold as a pale ale, but blonde golden works for me too, nothing offensive here, good and quaffable. rondphoto (4508) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUL 18, 2013
Clear copper with a good two-finger head that shrinks to a full cover, dots and streaks of lace. Sweet malt opens things; carbonation joins in as it moves through the palate, allowing just enough hop bittering to balance things at the finish. Very unassuming, but a solid choice for food and for a long night’s session. Very easy to drink. Recommended. luttonm (6963) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 16, 2013
From tasting at the Brewery in Westminster. Wry light pale, some mild indistinct hops. Dry malts. good old style but really boring example of it.
