2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From the bottle. Pours light copper color with thin white head. Weak aroma of earth, grass and a bit of orange. Initial taste is thin with some malt sweetness quickly moving to bitterness and lingers with aftertaste.
Light amber, clear, foamy.
Light body, flavorful, lean and refreshing mouthfeel, long on palate, clean finish.
Very dry, bitter, crisp.
Decidedly hoppy but not excessively so, floral, resiny, herbal, slight malt presence.
Has its attractions but definitely not my formula for a delicious IPA.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky golden amber color with a medium white head. The aroma is all hops, but not overwhelming. The taste is similar to the nose and has a slight bitterness at the end. An excellent beer. Handypaul (553) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - OCT 31, 2016
Can. Pours hazy dark amber with a small, mostly lasting, white head that leaves ok lacing. Aroma of pine and sweet floral. Light dry tea flavor, lightly bitter, average carbo, a bit of hops and a lightly bitter finish. A very average american IPA. dlovell2 (2141) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - OCT 10, 2016

Can at the Sox game. This is a non-descript, perfectly average IPA. Proof that you can make a ton of money with a mediocre beer and a ton of local pride.

Can at the game. There was no pour, this is a beer you drink from the can! The aroma and taste were that of an average ipa, actually better than I expected. Bonus points since the Tigers beat the Sox.

UPDATED: FEB 5, 2016 Can pour into nonic pint glass from McAloon’s in North Andover, MA. Aroma is moderately strong piney, floral, citrusy hops. Appearance is hazy golden pour with no sparkle, two finger-width white foamy head with poor retention and mild lacing. Taste is mildly floral bitterness. Palate is medium bodied with somewhat sticky texture, lively carbonation and dry finish. Overall, this is a step up from a macro but doesn’t have any complexity.
