Got my hops up for nothing, couldnt quite grasp what was so solid here, but its really not that bad of a brew, maybe a step up from a dundee ipa or so, but quite mild and no strong presence of an intricate brewing process. mrant (330) - New York, USA - MAY 17, 2009
Smells of sour citrus hops with a strong malt presence. Taste is very balanced malts and hops, unusual for an IPA, but not bad. Good choice if you don’t like hops too much. halfonit (1392) - Fall River, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 2, 2009
Has a slight hops smell. A golden colored brew with a faint hop scent. It’s not too bad of a brew but I’d recommend this one for a beginner of the hops flavored beer. Most likely my boy named Phattie. Learn the brews man......learn them!! Go B’s! BroSpud (2233) - , Massachusetts, USA - MAR 2, 2009
12oz bottle. This is from a local brewery to me so I have tried most of their offerings. As with their other beers their is nothing special here. Just OK. LooseCannon (938) - Norfolk, Virginia, USA - JAN 17, 2009
12oz bottle. Pours clear amber in color with foamy white head. Aroma of citrus hops and malt. Tase grapefruit, citrus hops and malt with bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours an amber body with a 3 finger white head. Aroma is malty with subtle floral hints of hop spiciness. Flavor is very malty caramel with strong hop bitterness, it prickles the tounge as it enters your mouth. Notes of honey and light etoh in the finish. Big hop resins and other fruits to finish. good. thornecb (6018) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 19, 2008
Pours gold into a shaker. Bright white head recedes leaving spot lacing. Sour resin aromas. Strawberries and resin from front to back. The non-citrus fruity flavors threw me off. Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - OCT 23, 2008
Bottle 355 ml omhper (25538) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 17, 2008
Appearance: Heavily hazed amber dark brew with medium, creamy head. 3+
Nose: Straight yet proper blend of sweet malt and west coast hops. Perhaps bit drier than one might expect to be. 7-
Flavor/Palate : Medium light bodied. Hoppy, nutty with woody finish. Unexpected development for an IPA. Raw herbal, tea like bitters with soft slight caramel like base. Peculiar in its own way.
Bottled. Pale amber, brief head. Grapefruity nose. Sweet and caramelly. Medium bodied with butter and caramel coming from the malt. Hops provide resin and lingering bitterness. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - SEP 23, 2008
12oz bottle-pours a thick off white head that laces and gold/orange color. Aroma is citrus-lemon/orange zest hops, secondary medium malt. Taste is citrus-lemon/orange zest and some pine hops with slight bitterness, secondary medium malt/grainy/some husky-caramel. OK carbonation.
