Bottle. Pours a cloudy amber with a thin but lacy white head. Lightly herbal and citrus aroma. Medium body and carbonation. Toasty malt taste with citrus behind it, but the finish is a bit grainly. jpm30 (1587) - East Central, Georgia, USA - SEP 14, 2007
12 oz. bottle, marked freshness date along the left side of label, sampled in a pint glass.
Poured a slightly hazy orangey amber, nice fluffy, creamy off-white head, good retention, minimal amount of laced sticking.
Aroma of floral and orange rind-like hops with a light backing of sweet pale malts.
Citric, orange juicy hops dominate the taste, just a slight toasted grain maltiness in the background. Towards the end a little sweet caramel comes out. In the dry finish the hops take on a lightly salted orange rind character, taste of chalk in the aftertaste. Medium bodied with slightly rough feel, not the smoothest IPA I’ve tried.
Overall, I didn’t care for the balance in this IPA, the hops, for me, just aren’t tasty enough to overcome the mild maltiness.

THIS BEER HAD A NICE GOLDEN COLOR AND A MILD HEAD TO IT. THE SMELL WAS VERY INTENCE AND I COULD SMELL AS SOON AS THE GLASS WAS POURED. AS YOU DRINK IT YOU COULD TASTE THE MILD FRUITS MAINLY ORANGE AND STRONG HOPS. THIS IS A VERY REFRESHING BEER AND GOES DOWN SMOOTH AND GENTILE WITH A NICE AFTER TASTE. Pours a clear, pale orange with a mostly lasting dense, white head that shows good retention as it dimples at the top as it disipates. The aroma is floral, with light grapefruit citrus. The flavour presents the resin quality of the hops, mostly in the finish, with coniferous notes throughout. The malty backbone is subdued, with hints of caramel. This one won’t please most serious hop heads, but it is still a nice, fresh tasting beer. The body is a little thin, but suitable for the flavours. Pours almost clear deep gold with a thin lasting white head. Aroma is mild citrus, some pine, floral hops and even some resin and sap. Crisp and clean flavor light on the malt modest hop usage- american c hops without getting grassy- stays piney and resinous, but overall the aroma and flavor are just a bit too subdued. Fresh, but needs more hops.

12oz bottle shared courtesy of TomDecapolis. Poured a medium and clear golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of earthiness, spruce/pine, ligth caramel and a trace of citrus. Tastes of citrus, light caramel, and light pine. Tastes on the subtle side compared to the aromas. Thinner body. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - MAY 10, 2007
Pours a translucent golden orange with a smaller creamy/bubbly white head that left some lacing. Aroma of various citrus, some pine, floral, caramel and slightly bready. Flavor of caramel, some light citrus, pine and a lingering hop bitterness. ABUSEDGOAT (2729) - California, USA - MAY 9, 2007
Lighter amber, very large head, solid lacing and retention. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, lemon, caramel, very fruity. Light bodied, moderate to low bitterness. Enjoyable but unspectacular. robertsreality (2460) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 3, 2007
Cloudy Orange/Gold color with White Ring. Pine, Citrus and a Very Compelling Floral Aroma. Medium Mouthfeel.. Lightly Carbonated. Sweet Malt Undertones...Very Nice Floral Hops..Sweet Dry Aftertaste..and a Malty Flavor That I Can Only Decipher as Rye. Solidly Wonderful IPA. mansquito (6328) - Nueva York, New York, USA - APR 17, 2007
Kind of pale for an IPA, but I poured it in a really thin glass, so that just might be my perception. Nice head. Standard IPA fruity smell. A nice balanced amount of hops. Falls right in the range of hops that I like to see in a beer. Definately not a sweet IPA like some others, which have both hops a a syrupy sweetness. Nice medium body.
