Hazy golden with an average sized white frothy head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, vanilla, and orange peel. Flavor is similar, but even heavier on the citrus somehow. Jesterdeal (1986) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - JAN 24, 2014
Can shared by Seth. Aroma is pineapple, apricot, and some malt. Pours hazy amber with a giant head. Taste is floral with grass and slight papaya. Malts dominate as soon as it’s in. Nice hop flavors but they are quickly quelled. Sticky and juicy mouthfeel. Overall, a fine IPA. umich03jm (3512) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - JAN 22, 2014
Can thanks to WillRunForBeer. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a small head that lingers nicely. Aromas are grapefruit, pineapple, and peaches. Taste is a bit sugary sweet like fruit juice. Strong pineapple and peach flavor with other citrus fruits. Light bitterness. Medium body, a touch syrupy in the mouthfeel. Overall it’s decent but a bit too sugary and syrupy like fruit cup juice. 12oz can pours cloudy toasted orange with 2 finger head. Nose is dank fruiry melon, citrus, cantaloupe. Taste is malty fruity melon, watermelon, tropical fruit, citrus. Finish is medium bitterness with some sweet malty notes and nice piney tropical fruit. Would drink this again any time. Solid. SDalkoholic (2444) - Linda Vista, California, USA - DEC 12, 2013
Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar: Poured a dense golden honey liquid topped with fat foam cap of head on top. Aroma smells sweet with grainy bread like malts dominating my nose with only a minor pinch spiced hops. The drink taste empty with no real body other than some sweet syrupy malt extract like malts and soapy apple like taste of hops which doesn’t go over well with me. This is one of the worse Imperial IPA’s I have wasted money on.

Nice citrus/hoppy aroma. Golden straw color with lacing white head. Flavors are a bit subdued, but nicely balanced. Very drinkable, and alcohol is well hidden. johnnnniee (4459) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 30, 2013
12 oz bottle from Candia Rd.
Pours a slightly hazy medium golden color with a huge fluffy white head that shows moderate retention. Pine resin and grapefruit mixed with a bready caramel maltiness make up most of the aroma. Moderate hop bitterness with plenty of pine resin and citrus flavor. A bit sweet on the palette with lots of toffee and caramel and a hint of alcohol. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick resinous mouthfeel. A touch on the sweet side, but I could drink these. Chuckaduck (674) - Highland Heights, Kentucky, USA - NOV 22, 2013
Can. 11/23/13. Pours cloudy amber-gold with a very fluffy, dense, white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, dry, earthy, grassy, vegetable skin. Taste is complex, citrus, resin, fruity (dark berries, light fruits, complex), sweet, woody; finish is citrus fruit and some syrup. Drinks like a barleywine. Medium carbonation. Medium-thin mouth feel, not coating. Gorgeous, exquisite, dense lacing. Really nice. Overall, fantastic! drfabulous (9015) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - NOV 17, 2013
12 ounce can thanks to Brian that I almost didn’t realize I had until I wen to reuse the box! Big pillowy pour. Grapefruit and bitterness. Solid Double IPA. None of that super malty character many have. bottleforager (3211) - Gray, Maine, USA - NOV 6, 2013
Pours a orange golden color with two finger of sticky eggshell foam. The nose is pungent with notes of orange, pine, honeyed malts and grapefruit. The palate follows the nose with nice clean hop notes of citrus, pine and a long bitter grapefruit finish. Nice touch of sweet malt backs up the hop flavors but is full but not sticky. Nice !
