Bottle. Poured a medium and hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, pine and a big amount floral hops. Tastes of floral hops, citrus, some toastiness, grass, and light caramel. I really enjoyed this one. RABinCO (1511) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - OCT 17, 2012
22 oz bottle into a goblet. Pours golden hay with a nice little white foam that fades to a film with medium lacing. Aroma is big and citrusy with a tinge of bubblegum. Taste is orange and bubblegum at first with a bit of grapefruit then finishes with pine and bitterness. Really liking this. Very well balanced, manages to be big and hoppy without being overly sweet. radarsock (1207) - Massachusetts, USA - OCT 13, 2012
Took a chance on this one. Purchased from Leary’s for exactly $6. Pours a nice copper orange with a fluffy white head two fingers in length. Smells predictably of sweet malt, pine and grassy hops, and yeast. Even with my nose stuffed up this badly I can still smell its maltiness. Yeah, this one’s definitely a malty DIPA. Starts with notes of orange peel, malt, vanilla, pine needles and booze. From there it’s hinting at plastic, onions and peanuts. Ends somewhat sour. Unremarkable but drinkable nonetheless. Wachusett has a reputation for that. Treebs (872) - , Illinois, USA - OCT 4, 2012
Poured from a bomber into my Founders snifter. Got this guy as an extra in a trade (Thanks Gushue!).

A: Pours a wonderful amber with lighter hued orange edges. Nice 1 finger pure white head with not very much retention, even with a vigorous pour. The ripple-effect from the lace was also very nice on the drink’s way down.
S: The smell is not as pungent as I would like, but I’m still picking up hints of grapefruit and some pine-like hops.
T: The light bitter fruit hits you up front then fades back down to mellow oaky bitterness. The finish is a little less than stellar with sort of a woody and light pine finish.
M: Medium to light bodied with an oily finish that leads to semi-bland finish. The palate is struggling to cling to some semblance of taste, but it’s failing.
O: While the brew was very refreshing and an excellent kick start I’m afraid it fell a little flat at the end.

This bottle kicked off the tasting at Brad’s on Saturday.
Larry pours dark yellow, is pretty hazy, has a decent sized head and good lacing. Citrus and floral aromas smell very fresh and inviting. The beer is slightly sweet, with nice tart citrus fruits and some herbal/floral notes. The alcohol is hidden very well and this beer is nice and easy to drink. Overall, a very solid brew, and a good example of the style.

Orange pour. Nose is strong fruity hops, some floral and some citrus. Nose has evident rich caramel and bread malts. Flavor is bitter and dry but full on the palate. Fruity and floral hops come through again and malts are a little more roasted caramels than in the aroma. Pretty nice beer overall. alexsdad06 (10651) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - JUN 8, 2012
Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a medium sized white head. The aroma is grassy with some grapefruit citrus and pine; light floral notes. The flavor has toasted bread, biscuit, lemon zest, citrus, grass and pine needles. The resiny character grows. The finish is clean and dry with moderate bitterness. dresden (1581) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - MAY 25, 2012
Clear golden with thin white head. Pretty big hop aroma, citrus grapefruit and something else maybe tangerine or mandarin. Big resinous hops flavour. Fresh cut grass (although i just mowed the lawn, maybe it;s already in my mouth) and harsh bitterness. Nice malt balance. Thanks a lot John! AGAquino (667) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAY 23, 2012
Cloudy amber colour with nice off white head. Aroma of pine. Nice citrus flavours, maybe a little past prime.
