Bottle from Harvest Market.
Pours a crystal clear medium gold color with a smallish white head that quickly dissipates. Aromas of bready caramel malt and light earthy hops to counter. The flavor is what I expected from the aroma. Sweet bread and caramel with hints of fruit and earth. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick sweet mouthfeel. Serviceable ale, reminds me of something I would have been really into about 10 years ago, but today its just ok. ModeEngage (152) - Lowell, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Tap. Pours hazy orange with white head that laces. Smells of bread, mango, and citrus. Drinks smoothly with mild lingering bitterness. Light bodied. Tastes of light rye and citrus. Finishes with mild fruit notes. puboflyons (3466) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 15, 2013
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. It pours orange-amber with a short-lived white head. Aroma of toasted breaded malts, mild earthy notes, and butter. The body is light to medium. The taste begins with toasted malts and ends briefly with clean hops. Pretty standard and easy to drink. geologyguy (1645) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - AUG 3, 2013

From tasting at the Brewery in Westminster. Dead pale orange, nice foam head. Beery wort nose, under fermented or just plain nice. Soft wattery body, pale flavors, very weak overall. fits the norm for this tasting set.

Clear amber/gold color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of malt, caramel, & some spice; Flavor of slight sweet malt, caramel, hops/grain, and some fruit; Finish is slightly bitter; Not your classic Irish ale - but not too bad. RyanK (276) - Rhode Island, USA - MAR 17, 2013
Upset I never reviewed the country pale because this is the same beer. Maybe maltier but just as it’s clone quiet plain and boring and not much to write about. Good refresher though Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAR 5, 2013
Light toast and caramel aroma. Reddish orange color. Slight bitterness, mainly sweet, relaxed malts. Smooth soft feel, seems on the low grav side, which makes it a very easy drinker. Too easy, in fact, as I finished it already. chriso (7586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2012
On tap at Kinsale, Boston MA on 7 April 2010. Noted at 4.8% but that could have just been a misprint on the beer list. Reddish amber colour. Diminishing off-white head. Caramel malt aroma. Suspicion of buttery diacetyl. Sweetish on the palate with soft malt dominating. More caramel and creamy toffee. Just a hint of tangy hop. OK but not very exciting.

Poured from a bottle. Light malty aroma which could be stronger. Appearance is classic red with a thin head. Nutty with full body. Very impressive for an amber. I agree one of the best ambers out there. Impressive guys. Perfect carbonation. bread, cereal, nuts, resin,
