The last of the Wachusett beers to try... It has a nice red color with some carbonation and a sweet malted smell. Taste is smooth, malty and finishes with a touch of alcohol. Overall this is the best from Wachusett hands down. UnionMade (621) - Connecticut, USA - JAN 5, 2003
Decent, but an odd yeasty nuttiness kind of ruins the overall impression for me. Good solid maltiness, not much in the way of hops, and the aforementioned strange bready nuttiness. Bits of cherry and caramel taste. Overall an average winter offering, I think. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 30, 2002
Clear deep copper body with creamy beige head. Aroma is malty, moderately sweet and fruity. Taste is malty, caramel, moderately sweet and a bit of berry. Not cloying. As it warms up, good earthy hoppiness enters in the back half of the taste. Volgon (2763) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 12, 2002
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2003 Drink this all winter long. Sweet, malty aroma, clear orange with a nice head. Fizzy mouthfeel, lackluster ending. Hopistotle420 (1178) - Amherst, Massachusetts, USA - OCT 27, 2002
Light fruit aroma, raison, plums. Garnett amber hue. Off white head. Sweet first, dark fruit, medium bodied, candy, bubblegum, then its a nice bitter finish. I definately enjoy this brew. Its sweet, but well balanced, hiding alcohol well. Definately quaffable.

Not the best good beer... but I’d drink it if I only had to drink one.
