Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep ruby-amber coloured, hazy, big beige head, sourish-fruity - presumably - infected nose with caramel and shy hops underneath; light to moderate sourish-sweetish flavour; increasing hoppyness in the fruity-sourish and malty finish. (bottle, 33cl, with thanks to Allen!) Hazy, dark and ruby amber colour with a big and slightly beige foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with yeasty and berry-fruity notes, accompanied by traces of caramel and cacao. Sweet flavour with a shy bitterness, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Slightly toasted malty taste with caramel, chocolate, liquorice and lighter fruity notes, from which the latter remind me rather of the early stages of an infection than complexity; almost dry and moderately toasty finish with delicate hoppy spice and caramel and chocolate in the aftertaste. infected bottle in zurich. hazed dark brown colored body, toast-like speckled tan head. nose has small amount of petroleum/plastic/rubber with some brown sugar and maple and toasted grains. heavily infected and sour on the tongue, butter, cheese, metal coins, extremely oily and thin body, all of that. horrid.

33cl, bb 18/04/09. Chestnut with a lasting eighth-inch of creamy foam. Aroma is chocolate, graham cracker and marshmallow with a hint of coffee. Flavor is chocolate, marshmallow, dark-toasted walnut, molasses, vanilla, and hints of metallic-sour berries. Medium body is slightly watery in a good way, and roasty-dryish. Bottled 33cl. It pours a hazy deep ruby beer with a heterogenous tanned head. The nose is of dark chocolate, plums, peat, chesnut purée, caramel, ginger and black pepper. Amazingly complex and incredible! The taste is wonderful. Black chocolate, licorice, plums and ginger showing up..... you name it! Nicely smoky but slightly sour unfortunately. Bottle. Brown beer under an offwhite head. Roasted malt and caramel aroma. Flavours are moderately sweet with a good roast. Quite alright.
