UPDATED: MAY 26, 2017 I bought this bottle at the drink of the world in Zurich. I drank it tonight with my wife, before to eat. The last moment to drink the bottle was in june 2017. One point that it is pleasant for the nose is the aroma of hemp, really good. When you pour it, dark brown color, white and brown head, carbonation a bit lower than usual. The aromas are really delicious, the first sips shows you a good note of hemp, at the end it develops a side of tea, lack of hop, malty, dry, not bad but it is missing something to be a great beer. There is also a side of hay.

Pours amber, a bit darker shade, topped with a decent tan colored head. Malty aroma with dominant herbal presence. Tste starts sweet, some caramel notes and herbs, bittery, spicy in the finish. Not great, not unpleasant. Soemthing in the middle.

The head is ok, the body brown and cloudy. It smells vegetable, hanf. The taste is spreewald water, spicy, hay. It has less body. 12/7/7/7/12/7

33 cL bottle bought in a supermarket. Aroma: Sweet, note of hemp, note of caramel and a hint of malt character. No hops and yeast character noticeable as the hemp note is really strong. Appearance: Clear liquid, amber color, nice CO2 bubbles, 1 finger of creamy foam. Taste: Hint of caramel, no hop character, strong hemp note. Palate: Average carboantion, short sweet aftertaste, medium body. Bitter note on the palate has a kind of a biting character. Overall: Flawless beer. Hemp character takes getting used to. All in all a nice and spicy beer. I would not order a second one because of the strong hemp character which is not my cup of tea.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a huge light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as a light note of weed, leading to a dry and spicy finish.

Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 12, 2008
Bottled 33cl. It pours a dark amber beer with creamy tanned head. The nose is of roasted malt, hemp and coffee. Sweet taste of roasted malt, mocha and hemp. Slightly sour. Beautiful lacing. Low bitterness. Dark bread dominating in the finish.

Dark amber color. Strange aroma, herbal and spicy (black pepper). Light body, some caramel taste, dry; a bitter touch of herbs and some black pepper spicyness. Strange, but not bad; correctly brewed.

red-amber colour, fine head, citrusy, hemp aroma, oily, sweet, light hemp aftertaste - more balance as in its stronger version
