Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 24 Oct 2012. Poured brown, with a large white head. Aroma of floral hops, malt and Wadworth esters. Cask at The Anchor, Digbeth, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is stale bitter malt. The flavour is medium to strong bitter with a rich malt bitter hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Served at the right temperature it’s great for a session. A typical English ale.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Pours clear ruby with a fine, white foam head. Toasty malts, some dry orange, leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol, November 2012. Copper coloured with a slight white head. Well balanced combination of elderflower cordial, caramel and the Wadworths house yeast, culminating in a decent bitter finish. Good. Finn (7916) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 3, 2013
William Morris, Hammersmith 7 Nov 12. Dyp brunrød. Lavt tett skum som varer litt og fester seg til glasset. Beskjeden, litt søt frukt/plommearoma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken litt tørr frukt med en syrlig bitter ettersmak.
