Must have been brought out of retirement, now at 3.8%. Correction sent. On cask at PoW, Farnborough. 07/06/16. On inspection I’d say this beer is a bit dark for a golden ale. The head is pretty much non-existent. A floral aroma but pretty flat. On first sup the word that springs to mind is bitter, but with a does leave a sweet honey taste. Palate - well pretty light but I have a sour taste lingering in my mouth. Nothing to write home about. BeerNinjaUK (466) - Wiltshire, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2016
Pint in Wadworths local. Pours slightly cloudy amber. Aroma fruity, with citrus, pineapple and lots of maltiness. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 25, 2015
Cask (backlog). Amber colour with a small white fluffy head. Aroma is grains, some floral and wooden notes along with mild nuttiness. Flavour is quite similar, but also has a crisp maltiness to it. Mr_Pink_152 (5005) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUL 14, 2015
tried at the berkerly arms, tewkesbury. golden colour with white head, weak malty aroma, taste is also a touch average, with a watery body. BeerViking (4783) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 13, 2015
Back in production, now at 3.5%. Nice hedgerow and sulphur nose, otherwise a regular well-made bitter, yet with the Burton Snatch.

Golden bitter with soft bubbly head and low carbonation. Aroma of buiscuit, berries. Taste is light, sweet, biscuit, caramel, berries, lemon, hints of earth, hay, urine, slightly soapy, watery. Short bitter finish. Oily palate. Drinkable / forgettable.wheresthepath (2333) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2015

Cask at the Pheasant, Chippenham. Nice branded glassware Waddys have now- I especially like their stemmed half pinters. Anyway, the stuff inside the glass was pale amber with a thin white head. It’s initially sweet and slightly dry; caramel is the main flavour and even that’s a bit muted. There’s a brief twist of sharp grapefruit at the end, but not enough to save this bland, dull beer. If only Waddys beers could be as good as their glasses. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - SEP 9, 2012
Cask conditioned handpump Golden Lion Wellingborough 30/08/12. A golden coloured beer with a white head and lace. Definite Wadworth cookie dough yeasty notes in this but it’s actually alright. Has a decent body and nice balanced fruity flavours. Sure there’s an eggy edge and there are odd lemonade notes but it has nice doughy flavours too. I actually quite liked this. berkshirejohn (6499) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2012
Cask at The Town Mills, Andover. Amber with a scummy white head; grainy aroma; it’s a simple bitter, with some grain, some malt and some gentle hops. A nice session bitter. prawlie (1592) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2012
Pint at the Broad Street Tavern in Wokingham. Bubbly head on a clear amber pint. Dry, bitter and lightly fruity, a touch floral. Hopped aroma, boring. Drinkable but mediocre.
