500ml bottle from the brewer at Cheltenham Food & Drink Festival. Pours gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is lemon, grain. Taste is sweet sherbet lemon up front, with an oddly bitter finish, not well balanced. ManVsBeer (10680) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 19, 2014
Bottle from B&M Bargains, Liverpool. Yellow coloured with a very thin head. Hopped but with not the best sweetness to accompany it. VastActiv (7242) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 18, 2014
Bottle 0.5l from local market, Vantaa. Originally rated 20042012. Colour is clear golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, some grain and malts. Totally useless. jamesie1857 (2186) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2014
500ml Bottle from B&M - Unremarkable golden ale, clear yellow body, thick white head that lasts not that long. Nose is a bit like a lemon biscuit, not too sharp, with a hint of cereal there. Taste is clean, fresh and not very bitter. refreshing, yes - but that’s the only upside. gegwilson (3729) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2014
Bottle from B&M. Quite an odd tasting golden ale. Lots of citrus hops on the finish, but some malty wheat notes in there too. Not great.

500ml bottle at home, chilled. Cereal aroma. Bright yellow body with a white head. Grassy cereal and citrus flavour, with a refreshing bitter finish. Superior summer session swigger. johndoughty (5472) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - SEP 29, 2013
Bottle. Golden and clear with lots of citrus and a bitter finish. Not very subtle but reasonably impressive. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JUL 28, 2013
Bottled 24/07/13. A golden beer with a white head. A farty, obviously pasteurised beer. Citrus hints but mostly boiled sweets. A typical mass marketed pasteurised stinkbomb. scotty (1210) - SCOTLAND - JUL 14, 2013
Quite pale gold, thin, patchy white head. Fresh clean citrus nose (grapefruit?) medium bodied, lightly malted, with subtle hops. Ok, but nothing to write home about. B&M, 99p..can’t complain at that! LeylandAl (3) - Leyland, Lancashire, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2013 does not count
Lighter on the palate than the aroma suggests. I suppose this would be expected from a 4.0% pale ale, perhaps I was expecting a little more.
Still, at a bargain price from B&M Bargains, a fine accompaniment to my curry!
