We salute 100 years of naval aviation dedicated to the unswerving courage of the crews of the Fairey Swordfish torpedo bombers, which were launched from aircraft carriers during the Second World War to attack the enemy battle cruisers Bismark, Scharnhorst and Gneisenau, risking their lives against impossible odds.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is herbal and grassy hoppy. Caramelish and breadish flavoured. Mild herbal and dry bitter hops. Lasting dry malty and caramelish finish.

Ungstrup (38413) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 22, 2010
Bottled. An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, and caramel, as well as lighter notes of bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, elderflowers, and bread, leading to a dry and lightly metallic finish.

oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 12, 2010
Bottled. Amber colour, not much small white. Aroma is grass, very dry and horrible. Flavour is malty, bready and quite interesting. Bready and yeasty grassy finish.

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 15, 2010
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with a lacing off-white head. Aroma of nuts and overripe fruit. Medium body, caramel, roasted malt and overripe fruit as well as some overripe fruit. Somewhat ashy also. Rather bitter finish. 150610

Leighton (22307) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 23, 2017
Bottle at home in Hackney- sourced via Ocado. Pours clear copper with a bubbly off-white head. The nose holds toasted brown bread, English yeast, some crackers, hay. Light-medium sweet with more toasted malts, faint toffee, suggestions of citrus, orange, melon, light bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, with more lightly toasted bread, semi-ripe citrus fruits, orange rind, British yeast. I find this really enjoyable.

saxo (19522) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2010
Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are malt, hops, caramel, grass and fruits.

yngwie (17234) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - OCT 8, 2010
Bottle. A clear, amber beer with a small, beige head. Bready, toffee nose with dried fruits, some fresh fruits. Some spiced, peppery notes. Coriander seeds? Medium body, a bit flat and dead. Slightly bready flavor, toffee and a buttery touch. A spiced bitterness chimes in towards the end, but it can’t prevent it from being a bit dull and uninteresting. Drinks easily. 101008

Dedollewaitor (16384) - Odense, DENMARK - JUN 17, 2010

MiP (15973) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 12, 2010
Bottle, 5.0%. Buttery aroma. Clear amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is a little fruity. Has a rough bitterness. The fruitiness gets a little sour after a bit.
