Cask at St James Tavern, Winchester. Low key stewed fruit aroma. Chestnut. A few mm of a bubbly off-white head. Light bitter. Malty. Underlying caramel sweetness. Thin. Light. Soft carbonation. Long finish. Not sure the rum really makes its presence known. OK. joe19612 (3131) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - JUL 30, 2017

Pint, goat and tricycle. Pours russet, foamy disappearing head. Sweet, boozey aroma, some must. Doesn’t really transfer to the taste which is soft, some malt. Decent brew on a warm day. mR_fr0g (13977) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2017
Cask at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear deep amber coloured pour with a lasting beige cap. Aroma is nutty. Brown bread, sugar, toffee apple. Lingering woody earthy twig. thepatrickman (1503) - Lewes, East Sussex, ENGLAND - MAY 25, 2017
On tap at Gatwick airport. The combination of real ale and dark rum is an intriguing one, and it’s nice to see some experimentation like this. Malt forward, like you’d expect from the style, and the rum spiciness shows up only faintly at the end. It manages to stay true-to-style and drinkable, neither of which I expected from the description.

Tried at the Magpie pub near Devizes, lovely deep copper ale with a nice taste and flavour. Back notes of rum (which I like) ands a nice smooth bitterness. Will have again. simontomlinson (673) - Blackburn, Lancashire, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2017
Off white frothy head stayed on a dark amber, still body.

Medium body, minimal carbonation, smooth.
Dark fruits, brown sugar & dark spirit tastes. Towey1989 (3423) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2017
Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear deep amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of caramel, bready malts, darks fruits, some nuts, slight prune and subtle spicy hops. Taste of caramel, bready mats, dark fruits, some prune, raisin, slight biscuit, a little nuts and subtle spicy hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A bittersweet, biscuity, fruity bitterness in the finish. A strong, fruity premium bitter which is malt dominated with dark fruits but a spicy hop finish. Wadworths best beer in my opinion. gnoff (11138) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 10, 2017
Cask at Broad Street Tavern, Wokingham, on April 4, 2017. As a sample.thejackpacker (728) - East Sussex, ENGLAND - APR 7, 2017
Clear golden color, white head. Malty, though bitter and slight boozy taste. Bitter aftertaste. Malty, slight boozy scent. Medium thin mouthfeel, medium though sharp bitterness.
Cask at Wig and Quil Salisbury. Slight rum but just too thin all around really. Too lacking in bitternsSS, hops and substance.
