kwik-lime (2195) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2017
Cask at The Antelope in Surbiton. Really quite disappointing, a watery palate, very little of the blackberry character as promised, really just feels like a very washed out version of a normal stout. Not a fan.

Bottle at home. Pours deep brown, only subtle fruit, thin, light chocolate roast.

Bottle from Hop Pole Shop, Aylesbury, Bucks, Consumed at home Sunday 12th October 2014. Twangy, fruity beer, yep it’s fruity with a little touch of tartness. Good brambley edge but stoutiness showing ok though it is a touch thin and a little watery. Its ok but nothing particularly exciting. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask Third of a Pint at GBBF 2013, Olympia, London Aug 2012 - Dark Brown in colour. Malty; roasty malts, coffee. Very Fruity; autumn berry fruits. Quite thin but tasty for low ABV. Mildly bitter roasty fruity throughout. Very drinkable.

Singularity (6446) - Blattniksele, SWEDEN - MAR 13, 2014
Cask at the Rake. Murky brown color with small off white head. Aroma with lots of coffee, fruit and berries. Taste is a bit watery, coffee, blackberries with some acidic notes.

Scopey (16778) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 4, 2014
Cask gravity at the Rake. It pours near black with a smallish tan head. The nose is roasted malt, coffee, caramel, chocolate and light berry sweetness. The taste is soft, watery, roasted malt, toast, sweet berry, ash and dark fruits with a dry, watery finish. Thin body and low carbonation. Too thin and watery unfortunately....

maneliquor (3514) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 27, 2014
Cask at the Rake. A very dark murky brown pour with a bubbly tan head. Nose is big powdery chocolate, woody and robust ash with nice dark berry focus. Nothing wrong with the aroma here. Taste is mild aniseed, cocoa, artificial sweetness, touch of smoke and berry tart. More like blueberry. Damn ashy though and this is off putting. Not great

ManVsBeer (11722) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2014
Cask @ White Lion, Heptonstall. Almost black, but not quite with a thin off-white head. Small roasted aroma and taste, although very drinkable.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2014 Cask @ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival Jan 14. Their chili plum porter made me sit up & pay attention last year and I loved Offbeat Brewery’s blackberry mild so was rather looking to this. Unfortunately, for some reason or other this just didn’t hit the mark. Got next to no blackberries in the taste and texture appeared watery and bland. Must find a bottle so I can re-rate.

Very dark brown, cloudy. Aroma has strong roast malts. Body is thin. General flavour is quite weak but has a strong roast, bitter aftertaste.
