DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 30, 2014
Cask, The Crown, Nuneaton. Glossy mahogany haloed with dense yellow-tan. Fine sieved cocoa, well roasted nose with grilled veg suggestions. Fine heady orange fruity hop beneath more bitter cocoa, bell pepper, stirs of Twiglet. A late finishing lick of heat. Underside of mellow plum tang. Decent.

weaselkenievil (1608) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2014
At the Manchester Velodrome Beer Festival 2014. What a day out. Good venue, beer choice was average. Quite enjoyed this. Brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, hint of smoke. Flavour is similar with a little chilli on the edge with slightly fruity hoppiness. Decent.

jjsint (3007) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2014
Cask @ Gravity Station, Cardiff. Brownish indigo with only a small wispy ring of tan head. Chocolate and biscuit on the nose. Taste is intensely warming, sweet and packed with a chili hit. Not so much of the plum but I’m not complaining. Hot, sweet, malty aftertaste. I’m in love!

3.4
ManVsBeer (10279) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 24, 2014
Cask @ White Lion, Heptonstall. Very dark brown and completely cloudy with a small off-white head. Has a high roasted aroma that is ever so slightly burnt. It has some chocolates in the taste but the spice takes over very quickly and it’s hot and happening in the palate.

3.3
BeerViking (4712) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2014
Cask at the Rake, choc and old wine nose, dry-sweet dark choc body with a hot spicy edge.

allmyvinyl (10508) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 10, 2014
Cask at Cloisters. Pours dark brown with a good tan head. Aromas have some dark malts, and green vegetables. Taste has a big chilli kick at first, but it rounds out as you go down the glass. No trace of plums, but good.

3.5
Leighton (21089) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2013
Cask at the Rake - Borough Market, London. Decent offering. Pours clear, black-brown with a bubbly, off-white head. There’s some dark fruit sugars up front then a bit of chili burn in the follow-through. At times you also get some roasted malts and dry cocoa. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Chili spice in the finish with lightly offsetting chocolate tones. Fine for what it is.

Theydon_Bois (19200) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 25, 2013
Cask at the Rake, Borough, 21/12/13. Light black with a thin tan covering that retains. Nose is roast malt, plummy depths, dark fruit, chocolate. Taste comprises berry fruit, cocoa powder, dark toffee fudge, green pepper, damson, light chilli spice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, spicey finale with a lingering spicey heat in the finale. Nice chilli porter, everything kept in check and well balanced.

3.2
bierkoning (13299) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - DEC 12, 2013
Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, licorice, plum and a hint of chili in the aroma. Thinnish. malty sweet flavor with molasses, plum and licorice. Chili notes are luckily well hidden, but just get a bit stronger in the aftertaste, especially as the beer warms up.
