Zlotta (3981) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - JUL 21, 2016
On tap at "dB’s". Hazy, golden orange with a medium large, frothy, quickly diminishing, off-white head. Very faint, sweetish, yeasty-spicy, only slightly fruity aroma of clove, some orange and a bit of banana. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy and a little fruity taste of mainly clove, some banana and a touch of orange, followed by a short, slightly bitter, quite yeasty-spicy finish. Thin to medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Another yeast bomb, and the promised fruity hops are nowhere to be found. Overall not that good.

Ligth opaque golden yellow, off-white lacing foam head. Nice citrus aroma and taste, some bitterness there. Interesting. (Wageningen 201606)

mariuspoenari (2999) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - DEC 14, 2015
Had this beer at a bistro in Wageningen. Comes in 750ml bottles only. Dark amber in color, with a modest head. Decent weissbier and quite refreshing, though nothing extraordinary.

Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 5, 2014
Bottle: Thabks Douberd: Served in a shaker:
Nedium sized creamy foamy gead on top of a hazy orange colored beer.
Aroma is lovely fruity with flowers and the flavours is an easy mix of cruits with bitters and again a light flower tone. Delicious beer and one of my shortest ratings... Just because I am enjoying this beer.
Aftertaste gets more bitter but still very nice.
Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a creamy texture.
Nice dance of flowers, malts, bitters, fruits and yeast. Well done, real surprise.

Bottle 750ml. corked.

[ Courtesy of Jackie, Simon and Dave ]. Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, caramel, moderate hoppy, flowers, perfume, moderate to light heavy yeasty. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, perfumed yeast, sweet malt - yeast, fruty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130926]

Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a medium to large off-white head. Aroma is very sweet with mostly baked bananas and some yeast. Taste is very sweet with wheat, bananas and some yeast. Soft bitter finish. Medium body and carbo. Not really a hoppy weizen and definitely not worth the price.

Benzai (16783) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - OCT 10, 2013
Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Clear orange color, full sized off-white to beige head that diminishes quickly. Smell wheat, some banana. Taste wheat, some fruityness and sugar though not too much. A bit weird but could be worse. Soft carbonation, average body.

DutchDrebus (6265) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - OCT 10, 2013

Christos (5902) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - SEP 8, 2013
Bottle, 750 ml, poured into a weizen glass at home. ABV 5,6%
Pours a deep orange coloured beer, with a huge white head on top, creamy and tgick, overflowing from the glass’s lips and forming a small mountain. Fantastic retentio, it stayed there for what it seemed ages. Heavy lacing left on the glass
Great aroma as well, lots of banana, less clove, on the front mainly, then followed by very strong citrus aromas. Very interesting mixture.
Taste doesn’t disappoint either, combines greatly the banana, the fruity bubblegum of a weizen and its sweetness with citrus hoppy flavours. On the aftertaste once again bitterness and bubblegum, on a game of power and who will conquer the other.
Medium thin body, good carbonation, just as needed.
I am very enthusiastic about this beer, maybe because it’s my first wheat ale, but it really made my day!
