bottle. dull, clear light amber body with a small white head, little retention, some lacing. oxidized and starchy honey and spelt/ rye grain malt aroma with chalky and pasty yeast and noticeable DMS. combine this with faded aromatic hops and you have yourself a cabbage and carrot and stale tobacco-smelling beer. it doesn’t taste any better, no surprise there. stale, ashy, carrot / vegetable-like with medium acid, low sweetness, low bitterness, stale paper oxidized malt and carrot and cabbage. yuck. Pint Pub, Helsinki (old backlog). Orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, mildly earthy with some slight hay, grass and mild herbal notes. Flavour is bready malts, some sweet malts as well as some hay, grains, grass and some slight herbal notes.
Pours into the glass a strong golden yellow beer, the head disappears very quickly. The smell is grainy, slightly sour, yeasty, slightly hoppy in the background. Starts very tart, also bready, spicy, grassy hops. The middle part is a bit unbalanced bitter, almost a bit dry, spicy and very grainy. Goes into a spicy finish with a lot of bitter hops. Quite unbalanced Landbier! Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - DEC 26, 2011
Geruch malzig-süß, getreidig. Startet süßlich und getreidig. Mitte setzt malzig ein und bietet überraschend aromatische Züge. Abgangs verhalten bittermalzig. Recht gutes Landbier.

Bottle by 27.02.12. Nose is lightly yeasty with sprizty citrus malt, a cellary celery note, and beautiful toasted grains. Beautiful deep golden body with strong carbonation and a sudsy beige head. Taste is sweet with low-to-no bitterness. Medium-full body is very malty, some sunny citrus and faint toasted grain, just a little bread and just a little grass. Soft and super refreshing. Check these guys out, this brewery does not make a bad beer! bierkoning (13821) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - SEP 7, 2011
Bottle. Golden color. Bread dough and grass in the soft hopbitter flavor. No specific aroma. Medium bodied. The morre you dig into this beer, the more pleasant it gets. turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - MAR 22, 2011
Pours medium yellow with medium head. A medium aroma with medium bitterness gives way to a medium smooth medium taste.
