jenznett (198) - GERMANY - AUG 20, 2017
Golden mit feincremigem Schaum. Malznoten in Richtung nassem Heu in der Nase. Sehr angenehm weicher Charakter trotz höherer Carbonisierung. Leicht würzig, im Abgang feine Bitterkeit.

Goldgelbe Farbe, gute Pilsblume. Harmonische Hopfenbittere im ganzen Trunk.

biir (1539) - Berlin, - MAY 4, 2017
Bottle from Hopfen & Malz - clear golden color, white head. taste is dough, cracker, malts, pine needles, floral hops. quite sweet, more like a czech pils. incredibly well balanced though and with an okay bitter finish. not your usual pils, but very good.

motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - AUG 31, 2015
bottle from the fridge at fristo getraenkemarkt in bamberg. clean, grassy nose; modest bitterness but with a chewy, pellet-like hop character. crsip and very drinkable

3.3
downender (8774) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - AUG 24, 2015
Bottle. Pale gold, with a massive, white, head and moderate carbonation. Crisp pils, with a touch of lemon sharpness, solid, cereal, malts and a touch of grassy hop, before a lingering, bitter, finish. A great lager.

3.5
TAR (2779) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - SEP 6, 2014
Bottle purchased at the brewery, best by Feb. 2015, consumed in Aug. 2014: Polished golden yellow. Broken white foam. Bright lemon verbena Spalt lines the nose along with melon rind, grassy pils malt, and cracker dough. Gentle pinpricks of carbonation Brightly oily and lemony-woody with a high concentration of Spalt on initial sip. Dazzling interplay between vibrantly tangy grass and oily hop acids overlies a bouncy uncured hay maltiness. Finishes starchy with pils malt and a late punch of scratchy herbality and lemon zest. Top-tier pils is not so easy to find in Franconia, but this one’s pretty solid. A very faint vegetal note was perceived in the aroma, but overall this is mostly clean with excellent hop expressiveness.

3fourths (9357) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - AUG 15, 2014
Bottle from the brewery cold room, best by February 2015. Clear gold with a white head.
Bright aroma is floral and lemon-y, Spalt-like. Clean fermentation profile, malt is lightly toasty and baguette-like. Soft touch of calcium and good sulfur. Medium body, effervescent with high bitterness... maybe one of the most bitter beers to be found in Franconia... seemingly dry, minerallic, hoppy and bitter. Wonderful stuff, a complete surprise to find such a characterful Pilsner, in good shape, from the bottle.

3.6
JulienHuxley (5909) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 20, 2014
On tap at the keller. Lemony grainy aroma, light graininess, much cleaner than the keller, very citrus forward, light metallic notes as well that you don’t find in the kellerbier. Taste of light dusty hops, flour, bready notes, pretty tasty pils.
