bottle, thank you MoritzF! Hazy brwon colour. Small head. Malty, slightly sweet with an omnipresent fruity sourness. Hints of roasted malt. pivnizub (10728) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - DEC 14, 2007
Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Brownish-amber coloured, a touch of barnyard in the distinctive caramelly-hoppy nose, accompanied by a touch of toasted malt; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite light bodied, low carbonation; spicy caramelly-bitter finish. O.K., a good rural beer, a bit light bodied......... MoritzF (10018) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - DEC 11, 2007
(bottle, bought at the brewpub) Hazy, amber coloured hue with loads of micro particles and a short foamy white head. Slightly sweet cara-malty nose with notes of barnyard and a shy whiff of hops. Light-sweet flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly toasted cara-malty taste, quite one-dimensional with subtle fruity accents and light herbal notes; short, sweet and minimal-bitter finish. They do the pale brews way better. bierkoning (13451) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 11, 2004
Light amber color, just a bit hazy. Somewhat dirty caramelly aroma. Apple flavor with caramel and chichory. Barnyard smells. Dirty, somewhat bitter and apple aftertaste.
