Draught @ Brauerei Wagner Oberhaid, Bamberger Straße 2, Oberhaid, Bavaria, Germany 96173.
Light unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, bread, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic.
It’s dark red-brown with a creamy head, and the aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, light straw and hints of rubber. The flavour has a moderate sweetness and notes of roasted malt, light cocoa, caramel and the finish is rather dry with light notes of straw.

Bottled. Hazy deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is herbal, slight sour fruity as well as wooden. Flavour is the same along with both caramel malts and some bready notes as well. A bit diacetylic as well. Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 9, 2009
From the barrel at the Hannla Keller, on the road between Dorfleins and Oberhaid. Ceramic mug. Not much head. The aroma is slightly herbal, but also buttery. Light, buttery. Sort of crisp, but also sort of thin. Not the best example. Beershine (5253) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 28, 2009
Draft @ Hannla keller. Gold color in krug with big white fluffy head. Nice lacing. Buttery aroma, is also sweet. Slick diacetyl palate. The cool temperature disguises the diacetyl and the flavors are better than the aromas. Sweet cereal grain and buttered bread. Wood on the palate too. pivnizub (10910) - Bochum, GERMANY - DEC 25, 2007
Bottle (purchased at the brewery): Hazy, small and lacy foamy layer, deep golden to light amber coloured, juicy malty nose with a barnyardy touch and a good, distinctive touch of hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, low carbonation; short, bitter-fruity-malty finish. A pleasant, average franconian beer, superb by german standards....... MoritzF (10199) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - DEC 11, 2007
(bottle, bought at the brewpub) Hazy, light-brown colour with a small frothy white layer. Light-sweet caramel-malty nose with light fruity accents and a tinge of herbal hops. Light-sweet flavour, light bodied with an almost flat carbonation. Slightly toasty cara-malty taste with subtle fruity accents; slim and short toasty finish. Not very exciting.
