draft at Wagner-Brau in Oberhaid fonefan (51574) - VestJylland, DENMARK - AUG 9, 2010
faint mineral / gravel touches to the aroma with a light peppercorn spice hop note. light-flavor centers on toasty, slightly-sweet cracker / biscuit malt with softer touches of corn syrup sweetness. has a moderate hop bitterness and expert cleanliness, but comes across almost more like a hoppy helles than a German pilsner given the grain syrupiness and sweetness. that said, it’s delicious and quenching.

Draught @ Brauerei Wagner Oberhaid, Bamberger Straße 2, Oberhaid, Bavaria, Germany 96173.
Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, butter. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, butter notes, acrid notes, buttermilk. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light metalic.
It’s golden with a creamy head and a mild aroma of malt, grain and light straw. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, grain and the finish is dry with notes of straw, it’s very straightforward. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - SEP 4, 2009
Bottled. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, small white head, which leaves nice lace. Aroma is sour fruits, some grass as well as butterscotch. Flavour is fruits, hops, some wood as well as mild herbal notes. Lots of apricot in the aftertaste. Interesting pilsener if not else. Seems like through 5 years it’s been very similarily fruity and sour/acidic.

Draught at the brewpub (as Will Pils) Clear golden, small head. Grassy nose. Fruity with some apricot and butter. Well rounded mid-sized bod. Unusually fruity with balanced bitterness. Very gentle. Quack-Duck (9534) - Down South, GERMANY - JAN 10, 2008
bottle, thank you MoritzF! Very cloudy pale yellow, creamy white head. Lovelly hoppy flavours dominate, resiny and grassy with hints of lemon. Full-bodied with a malty base. A fruity sourness is present. pivnizub (10838) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - DEC 17, 2007
Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Clear, golden, quite stable mid-sized head, almost solid barnyardy-malty nose with distinctive hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; some grainy fruitiness, mixed with a hoppy bitterness in the finish. Good "rural" Pilsener......... MoritzF (10129) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - DEC 11, 2007
(bottle, bought at the brewpub) Clear, golden colour with a short but persistent foamy white head. Light-sweet, soft malty nose with a distinctive fruity touch of citrus and pears, combined with a light hops character. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malty and slightly grainy taste with fruity notes; slightly grainy and light hoppy finish. More an Export than a Pils but nevertheless a drinkable one. bierkoning (13736) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUN 10, 2004
Light hoppy and malty aroma. Firm hoppy, hay-like flavor, with some boiled milk. Fairly long hopbitter afteratste. relatively clean for the brewery, but not by normal standards. Tasty, but far from perfect.
