12oz bottle. Pours a radiant, cola-brown color with the slightest reddish tinge; light tan head with patchy lacing. Toasty malts and caramel in the aroma; a hint of citrus. This tastes wonderful: medium-to-full mouthfeel, showing plenty of cola and a creamy nuttiness; lively carbonation, with a touch of citrus and a near-perfect mouthfeel; terribly drinkable, flavorful Vienna (probably my favorite of the few I’ve had). Medium, toasted malt and nutty finish. I could drink this all day. Sregnar35 (1033) - Rotterdam, New York, USA - JUL 4, 2007
On tap at Mahars. Poured brown with a small head. Aroma was weak, but pleasantly sweet. Flavor very full sweetness, very tasty brew. AskForJenny (1086) - Ontario, New York, USA - NOV 28, 2006
sample at brewery - large tan head over toffee colored liquid. Sweeter malts and some hops and wood on the finsh. Nice. WISEGUY572 (1377) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 9, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2006 Absolutely gorgeous. Huge tan head on a clear cherry coke colored beer. Nose of vanilla, classic floral hops, and sweet malts. Taste of malts, vanilla, toffee, and bitter hops, with a long bitter finish. A little thin in the mouth, and dry, almost tannic, almost nutty, almost astringent. I detect apples, dark fruits and raisin in this very smooth well balanced beer. I had it at the brewery on tap. The aroma seems a bit weak and the flavor isn’t very pronounced-it just exists to appeal. The malty quotient here was appealing I have to say.

served on tap at the brewery. Pours a dark amber brown color with absolutely no head. Does look kinda like soda. Flavor is caramel malts, slightly roasted nut and bitter hop undertone. Overall, decent but not my favorite. jb (3414) - Rochester, New York, USA - MAY 26, 2006
Cola - colored with a thick tan head. The thick head also had very nice retention. Malty aroma, caramel and raisins in the palate. This is a smooth creamy palate. A very nice vienna. MarkBarnes (419) - Waterville, New York, USA - FEB 2, 2006

Pretty good for the style which, admittedly, is not my favorite -- being just *too* malty-sweet for my hop-craving palate; trying to rate accordingly. Reminiscent of the Sam Adams Octoberfest. Pleasant, candy-ish aroma and smooth, spicy mouthfeel. Have five more in the pack, and may re-rate after further review.
Thin, unpronounced aroma, with little but a touch of malt. Flavor had a nice rich chocolatiness as it warmed, but was otherwise pretty minimal. Easy drinker, nothing special. piscator34 (2647) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 6, 2005
Decidedly brown in colour with a medium amount of carbonation. It’s got a nutty / malty aroma with little hop influance. The caramel malt is the dominant flavor, along with some vienna and munich malts and some clean bitterness. It’s fairly average stuff. Thanks Lubiere.
