(draft @ Wagner Valley Brewing Company - Lodi, NY) Orange pour with a thin white head. Light malty aroma with some mild hop bitterness. Nothing out of the ordinary. Flavor is exactly the same. Some light malts with a bit of hop bitterness. Kind of ordinary. roder60 (1289) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 17, 2006
served on tap at the brewery. Pours a dark amber brown color with absolutely no head. Does look kinda like soda. Flavor is caramel malts, slightly roasted nut and bitter hop undertone. Overall, decent but not my favorite. Odyn (266) - New York, USA - JUL 7, 2008
Malty aroma with a deep red/brown color Tastes full bodied with heavy malt flavor and some light hoppiness. A little too heavy/ rich for summer days. Radek Kliber (7363) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JAN 5, 2003
Aroma was not the most appealing to me. Sweet malt with not the freshest vegetables. Dark tea look, minimal head. Ok for now nothing special. Now taste ... A bit dusty in feel with some soft bitterness. Again nothing spectacular. blipp (9299) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 28, 2008
Bottle. Pours red/amber with a beige head. Aroma is caramel malt and vegetable soup. Medium body and a flavor that is very similar to the aroma. Not bad, but really not that good.

Bottle. Aroma of nuts, sweet malt, big blast of soda syrup. Flavor of more nuts/peanut butter, sweet malt, some cherry/raisin, and more SODA. Carbonation borders on soda-like as well. I’m no expert on the matter, but I do quite like the style, and this doesn’t taste like any Vienna I’ve had, more like a really bad effort at a doppelbock. Soda bomb. Brown pour with am off-white head. Aroma is malt a bit metallic some hops. Flavor is thin watery, a little malty. Pretty mediocre. Brownlabel (4) - Jaffrey, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 27, 2003 does not count
Excessively carbonated-tasted like some weird soda pop. Bottle says it's a Vienna style lager but I've never tasted anything like this one. Whoever awarded Wagner Valley an award for this beer obviously didn't get a bottle from my 6-pack. It was fresh - much too fresh and very raw to the palate with a sugary caramel aftertaste. Too bad - I've enjoyed some of their other products but I won't buy this one again..
