COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In the 1800s Mill Creek in Lodi was home to several mills where local farmers brought their grain to be ground. Mill Street, named after the creek, inspired the name for our Pilsner. Our Mill Street Pilsner is a pale, straw-colored dry lager distinguished by the spicy aroma and flavor of Czech Saaz hops.

Clear yellow. No aroma in particular, a little grain. Light body. Slightly although not too sweet flavor, a tad crisp at the finish although not much hops to speak of. Inoffensive and unmemorable.

Bottle. More orange than yellow and not much of a head. This isn’t a crisp hoppy North German pils, but something mellower and perhaps a bit sweet. Not my style.

On tap at the brewery in Toronto. Great hop/spice taste. Great pilsener. Should have had more than a sample ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear straw yellow color with a soapy white head. Grain aroma. Seemed watered down. Not much flavor-some grain/grass, a touch of bitterness. Not much else.

Draft @ Wagner Valley. OK pils, straw colored, saaz hops, nothing too great, drinkable but get the IPA instead

On draft at the brewery. A nice, very light pilsener. Less calories than Bud Light but nicely flavorful.

Gold pour with almost no head or lace. Aroma is corn like and wet paper. Flavor is sweet corn and light paper. No bitter to speak off. A drinkable beer.

Clear golden coloured body with a frothy white head. Aroma of metal, light hops and very light malt - perhaps with a bit of citrus. Light-bodied; Sharp pungent taste of malt, funky metal and some citrus, with a bit of a sweetness near the end. Aftertaste shows some floral essences, corn, metal and some light off-flavours. Overall, not such a great offering, and worth trying something else. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Half Time in Poughkeepsie on 11-June-2009, sampled on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on July Fourth, 2009.

Bottle: Poured a yellow color with a thin head. The aroma was grass and malts. The flavor was small hops, hint of caramel, and corn. Overall, just OK.

Could have been a solid pilsner (I want to say that the hop profile was close to perfect) but had this very distracting extract-like twang to it. Oh well, not bad for a brewery attached to a winery.
