Slightly hazy golden colour with a large slightly off-white head. Very dry and hoppy smelling. Very hoppy initiall taste overridden by a nice malt flavour. A medium-bodied APA with a great flavour! Definately worth trying!!! apoptosis (1317) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 30, 2003
Very hoppy and dry. This bottle has quite a bit of "floaties" in it, and the finish is very bitter. Cloudy, dark amber color, medium, white head. notalush (5866) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 26, 2003
This is a pretty darn good pale ale, with a wave of hops in the beginning, sime citrusy bitterness in the middle, and a blast of maltiness in the finish. This is medium-bodied, but pretty full bodied as far as pale ales go. If you want to try a Wagner beer, this should be the one. austinpowers (2828) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 15, 2002
Chock full of Chinook and Cascades, this APA is exactly what it says it is. Lame head, though. Hops are evident in the aroma, too. Nice. Vac (2445) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 17, 2002
The color is a pale gold and the beer is slightly cloudy when looked at. the aroma is sweet and malty. the flavor is sweet and hoopy with a strong hoppy finish.

Sour, fruity nose. Very hoppy presence with a decent malt character. Fairly good pale - similar to Old Slugger. QXSTER199 (9) - Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 3, 2001 does not count
A bit of Northwest hops influence in this Finger Lakes ale. Crisp, refreshing and balanced for a fine brew. Oakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 3, 2001
Light copper colour; earthy-floral nose; bitter palate with good hop dosage and hints of biscuity, caramelly malt balance.
