Bottle from Park Lane Liquor in Lancaster, CA. This beer pours a deep golden color with a thin white head that diminishes rapidly. Thing stringy lacing on the glass. Toasted grain and malt in the nose along with touches of hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of hops, grainy malt and some lemon. The finish is moderately hoppy with notes of hay and malt left over. All in all this is pretty standard stuff. realale420 (399) - west covina, California, USA - MAY 15, 2007
Bottle poured a clear pale color with small white head. Aroma was spicy hops, caramel and some slight oxidation. Taste had good bitterness with a strong caramel malt flavor. Finish was dry with a medium body. RiverHorse (457) - New Jersey, USA - APR 4, 2007
Pours a light golden color with a small creamy head. I smelled grapefruit, hops, malt and fruit on the nose. Tastes light and bitter with some hints of hops, spices and dried fruit. Good lacing and a decent mouthfeel. This is an alright summer drinking beer. robertjm (898) - Albany, California, USA - MAR 29, 2007
Pours a very pretty white head. Orangey golden in color. There’s carbonation there, but you have to look VERY hard to see the bubbles. They are there in the mouthfeel though. Can’t quite make out the hops in there, but I "think" its on the side of an English variety. A little sourness in the aftertaste. No aroma per se. I’d drink it again if someone gave it to me, but its not like I’d go out of my way to buy it. In fact, I picked it up at Bevmo from the cheap table. $4/6pk instead of $8.50!!

Aroma of malt and hop - grapefruity hop. Amber gold color with virtually no head (but the traces are white). Starts with malt, passing through a bit of citrus, going a bit flat, then having hop balance the situation. Medium mouthfeel. There is something of the nutty brown ale characteristic in a very small way. BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - DEC 12, 2006
Bottle: Gold yellow, nice white head and good lacing. Nose of straw/banana and citrusy malty sweetness. Floral, nice. The flavor is balanced, nice creamy maltiness and pleasant hop balance. The finish is clean, nice fruit shake with light hops mixed in. peterstrongale (43) - Tampa, Florida, USA - NOV 28, 2006
Pours a light yellow golden beer with a creamy off-white head. The nose lends particularly juicy notes, with scents of passion fruit and grapefruit. The flavor leaves similar notes on the palate, with pepperiness coming from the hops. Little malty sweetness, which fades towards an orange-peel-like hoppy bitterness to the finish.
