Bottled, thanks marbles!
Golden colour, rich head. Dry, malty and fruity. Fairly hoppy with some toffee and a lightly citric, fairly bitter finish. I’d say this is a dortmunder. FROTHINGSLOSH (7697) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 29, 2006
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2007 This beer came to me from my beer club - I have never heard of this brewer before. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium golden color with a huge orange-white head. The aroma is fruity sweet malts. The flavor is fruity and peppery with pleasant tangy light malts. The finish is sweet and fruity. A very nice lager. austinpowers (2828) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 14, 2006
Unusual flavor, not unlike a Vienna with its thick maltiness. Very nice and caramelly with a moderate amount of hops. Enjoyable. Amber color. Bit sweet. SDbruboy (1864) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 18, 2004
Bottle. Pours clear yellow golden with a large white head that diminishes mostly. Aroma is lightly fruity malts, light hops. Quite sweet, bit of honey, citrus and a spicy hop finish. Nice mouthfeel, medium body with a prickly/creamy carbonation. Not your typical lager, pale ale characteristics are noticible. Maybe the fact that this is my first beer in a month has something to do with my higher than average rating. Will re-rate somewhere down the line.

Premium lager? Tasted like a pale ale to me. Lots of American hop flavor, with a nice medium body to back it up. I wonder if they changed the recipe? My bottle did not have a thin body or no flavor. It had a fluffy white head that stayed half way, and made a lace on the side of the glass. Decent stuff, but I am wary about how my rating differs from most. dhlesq (233) - Thousand Oaks, California, USA - JAN 11, 2006
Aroma of toasted grain, with mild floral hops and some honey; quite pleasant actually. Appears a pale golden yellow with a moderate white head that dissipates quickly. Flavor is quite hoppy (perhaps Chinook), with underlying toasty notes and some sweetness at the finish. Palate is light and appropriate. Overall, this beer much better than I expected and equal to the sum of its parts. Ernest (7663) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JAN 13, 2005
UPDATED: OCT 26, 2006 Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, grapefruit). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Decent, hopped-up lager. jetzler (622) - oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 4, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2006 Bottle 44F Lager Glass. Nice light malt notes, good light hop notes, a bit of citrus and a touch of breadiness. Slighty hazy golden color with a decent white head, Nice very pleasant taste more hops than I had expected, much better flavor than I would have expected as well, If I lived in Hawaii I would definately drink this beer more often, quite a pleasant suprise. 12 oz. Bottle. Pours a hazy medium pale color with some head and no lacing. Malt in the nose. This sample is on the verge of going sour but the malt is still balanced in the flavor profile. Nice beer.
