Snegurochka (397) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 8, 2014
100ml from tap, with Sigridur 18.08.13, Oslo. Hazy light yellow body. Banana, apricot, green tea and wheat. A bit too sweet is our verdict, even though we both love Bergen, were reminiscing our years studying there and all the money we supported Hansa with.

Meilby (11692) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 21, 2014
Draught @ Pingvinen, Bergen
Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, banana, caramel, clove and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long wheat, grainy, banana and grassy finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Vighals (4453) - Sørumsand, NORWAY - FEB 9, 2014
Gulbrun tåkete med hvitt skum som ligger godt. Banan, hvete og litt metallisk lukt. Noe bitter kornete smak. Kort mild ettersmak med livlig kullsyre.

RickFifty (1399) - Fredrikstad, NORWAY - NOV 21, 2013
UPDATED: NOV 27, 2013 Hazy golden yellow, small white head. Fruity nose, wheat, hint of yeast. Banana taste, pineapple and peach. Light body, lack of carbonation. A bit disappointing, but deserves a re-rate.

A 1.5 hour lunch break in the solar physics conference, what to do what to do... What about a quick rating at the closest micro brewery? In my tiny 25 cl glass (look boss, I’m a responsible employee!) there is a cloudy orange liquid with a very small white head that soon disappears almost completely. A thin and persistent ring of foam along the walls of the glass leaves some lacing. The aroma is strong with lovely notes of sweet fruits, of course plenty of banana, spices and sweet caramel in the back. The taste is moderate to light sweet. Strong sweet fruity flavours, banana, soap and spices. Medium body, moderate carbonation. A good one! Now, back to fixing a few bugs in my code before the conference reconvenes.
[25 cl from tap @ Amundsen, Oslo]
