Great beer. Perfectly balanced. Wonderful hops, but not too bitter. Pretty complex for a Pilsener, but still very refreshing and quaffable. One of the best of its kind.

Everyone should have a Diplom Pils! A really good Schwarzwald Pils that has a good design and even better taste.

VDuquerroux (1647) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - JUN 9, 2017
Bottle, 33cL. Home. A pale golden clear beer with a medium white head ; ok retention and lacing. Grain, herb, quince notes, vegetable notes. Medium dry bitter refreshing. Light body, thin texture, average good carbonation, dry refreshing finish. Overall, enjoyable !

Bierverkostung im Limes, Bonn, 08.06.2017. Waldhaus / Greene King. Bier #04. Riecht getreidig, hopfig, frisch. Schmeckt frisch, getreidig, süßlich, blumig, leicht bitter.

Sep. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle that poured a pale yellow body with medium sized head. Lemony and lightly peppery aroma. Flavor was lightly bitter, herbal and lemony which eventually turned to metallic with weaker grainy malty base behind. A bit acidic in the finish with lemon, grain and somewhat herbal like in flavor, too. Thinner in body with relatively high carbonation. Although not bad, it was quite a boring and mediocre pils, nothing thrilling like the style score here would suggest.

Ok Pils para Alemania pero mejor que cualquiera de los refrescos que nos dan en los bares patrios... Para la buena sed.

Thanks Natko! Shared with the Hvar crew. Pale dull yellow-golden body with a small white head. Herbal and fruity aroma. Nice light lean crackery body with solid herbal bitterness. Actually nice!

Good beer but i do not really like the bitter-sharp aftertaste. But nevertheless quite ok.

Radek Kliber (7320) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - JUN 15, 2016
Where and how: Bottle 330 ml
Aroma: nice, solid herbal hoppy top with quality soft golden malts at bottom. Mild tartness at finish.
Appearance :
Top: medium sized head with decent lace painted on walls.
Base: clear pale gold.
Palate : medium bodied lager, soft, smooth with fairly delicate carbonation. Average plus finish.
Taste: softer Pils, slightly chewy yet its nice Herbal hops balance things somewhat.
other notes neat lighter, softer choice.
