07-10-17 // draft at Jack Inn, Mainz. Hazy brown beer, solid beige head. Taste is slightly roaste malts, not too sweet, good balanced, smooth.

33cl bottle thanks to bartlebier.
Apperance; Brown body with a beige head.
Aroma; Roaste malts, nuts, caramel, a bit of spices.
Taste: dry, not as sweet, nuts, roasted malts, caramel with some spices and a bit of cacao. thin- medium body, below average carbonation.

Interesting dryness which sets it a bit a part from most other dunkles.

Bierverkostung im Limes, Bonn, 08.06.2017. Waldhaus / Greene King. Bier #05. Riecht leicht nach Röstaromen, deutlich nach Getreide. Schmeckt dezent nach Röstaromen, spät kommt Lakritz hinzu, dezent bitter.

Baden Baden 26/10 2016. 33 cl bottle at Petek kebab. Pine tree on the label - it is from Waldhaus Brewery after all. Pours hazy dark brown with off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Aroma is sweetish. Caramel, lightly roasted malts. Not very strong. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is well balanced. Medium sweetness followed by medium bitterness. Pleasant dunkel. Maybe a little bland.

pours a hazy dark mahogany brown with a small off-white head and some lacing. aroma of rye bread, toasted malts. flavour of toasted malts, bitter chocolate, wood, nuts, earthy notes. strong carbonation.

Clear dark purple brown beer, creamy light beige head, unstable, bit adhesive, some lacing in the glass. Aroma: banana, dried fruits, bit dusty, cocoa powder, some vegetables, bit off. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, caramel, banana, cocoa powder, chocolate, bit malty, grains, overripe fruits. Aftertaste: little bitter, cocoa powder, bit malty, overripe banana, something off.

Couleur brune sombre, forte mousse beige. Nez malté caramel, fruits secs. Gout malt grillé, caramel et fruits secs avec note levures et épices. Bon corps. Fin assez longue grillée et épicée, voir baton de réglisse Pas mal
