Crazy Body on this Beer.

Bottle. A nice malty aroma, some dark chocolate, a very light sweet aroma. The head is creamy, beige and normal large with a normal duration. The body is dark red. A taste of chocolate, some malt, light bitter. The finish is long and mild, light bitter, very nice. The body is light to medium, creamy and light oily with a normal carbonation. A very nice Dunkel. turbothy (1141) - Bonn, GERMANY - DEC 17, 2010
Pours a rather handsome mahogany brown. Burnt coffee aroma. Quite pleasant mouthfeel, flavour is not that remarkable but still a solid dunkel. Grima (2511) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - JUL 3, 2011
The beer in the glass is beautiful chocolate brown with a very high and stable head. The smell is very strong spicy, clovy, also with some caramel malts! It starts strong spicy, roasted malt and caramel. The middle part has some wooden aromas, very spicy, with delicious aroma hops. Goes into a sweet malty finish, with hints of caramel and chocolate. The finish has also some fine aroma hops, again!

Bottle @ Ambrosetti, Berlin. Pours dark Brown nearly black with a off White head. Roast, caramel, bread and dark fruit. Chewy and Smooth. Delicious. bartlebier (4216) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - MAY 20, 2013
33cl, Südstar Freiburg. Apparently still being brewed " to celebrate the 175th birthday of the brewery", aka not a singular occasion beer. Smooth and tasty balanced dunkel, featuring the trademark Waldhaus dry malts which work better in a dark beer than in their dry pilsners. Yeast spice, roasted malts, some nuts and caramel, bitter chocolate rather than residual sugars, fullest and delicate taste potential for the ABV and style. Smoother than many porters, tastier than quite a few dubbels, while still far from being spectacular. MoritzF (10199) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUL 7, 2008
(33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Hazy, dark brown colour with a medium-sized beige foamy head. Sweet, toast-malty aroma with a distinctive subtle dried fruity note, accompanied by an almost vinous touch of alcohol. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Toast-malty and leafy taste with dried fruits and shades of cacao in the background; dry-ish, toasty and subtle fruity finish. Well-balanced and hearty Dunkel (07.07.08).
