Total home run for Walking Man. Never before had a high ABV double/imperial IPA that was so well balanced and drinkable. No alcohol burn, no throat scraping hoppiness - just great flavor and mouthfeel - blissful EXPERIENCE! Thanks Stevenson WA for creating this. Clear golden pour with a bubbly white foam, spotty lacing. Nose is tangerine, pineapple, essentially the tropics in a blender. Mouthfeel crisp, mild alcohol warmth, low-medium carbonation. Taste is sweet tropical notes with the spicy tang and hoppy bite. Wicked. Brentv (672) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 1, 2016
On tap at ABV Pub in Hillsboro, OR. Hazy orange/copper pour with a small white head. Fruity aroma. Flavors of orange and mango and other citrus. A nicely malty and sweet IPA with lots of hops and flavor. Medium full mouthfeel. SHIG (4956) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - FEB 15, 2016
Bottle: Poured a copper with off white head. Aroma is malty. Taste is malty with some hops. Gets some bonus for the labeling on this one, but not much else here.

Hazy amber color with medium head. The strong malty character of this beer and medium sweetness level, although both lovely, label this as an old school IIPA; the hops are strong, more resiny than else, a bit orangey too; the malts also have a mild biscuity note. The caramel still dominates the final. The alcohol is well conceived.
Excellent powerful beer, I wouldn’t drink more than a glass of it per session though.
dark red gold some tan head. Aroma sour caramel, spoiled milk yogurt, berries. Big malt flavor. caramel. spicy peppery hops. thick body. resin, sparking mouthfeel. big bitter jtclockwork (16470) - , New Jersey, USA - OCT 4, 2015
Bottle shared with Yanick. Pours orange gold white head - Nose/taste of orange peel, caramel malt, lemon peel, pine and resin - medium body. jsnicholas (615) - Woodinville, Washington, USA - APR 28, 2015
Bottle (22oz $5.50) Hazy golden with smallish white head that disappears. Somewhat sweet, malty, but turns much more bitter than I like. The bitterness is not sudden, but builds and lingers and ends up tasting metallic. Not balanced IMHO. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - APR 18, 2015
Bottle. Pours a somewhat hazy amber color with a moderate off-white head on there. Nose has some floral and fruity notes, but does smell a little old and earthy. Taste has that earthy bitterness that comes up when hops are past their prime.
