Draft. Pours hazy dark orange with apub head. Decent lace. Aroma and palate are the same. Medium sweet caramel and candi malts, horse blanket, and light piney hops. Medium body, good carbonation, oily-stickly texture, and a solid earthy, bitter finish. Excellent pale ale. raphael (1254) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 25, 2012
Was surprised I hadn’t reviewed this, as i been drinking it a long time. "Floral" i think at first sniff, a mixed bouquet, plus honey & lemon. Clear amber with modest of white head. Light in the mouth, a little under-carbonated (on tap at brewpub). Zam come the hops, harsh grape fruit rind. sometimes a little caramel comes through, and alcohol. not too harsh a finsh BARLEYWINEO (106) - Tacoma, USA - APR 28, 2012
A: Poured a light amberish orange color with good carbonation and a nice white cap
S: Citrus and grass ont he nose with some light breadiness to it
T: Fruity citrus and lots of caramel, lingering fully-hopped bitterness. Stays pretty well-balanced but leans hard toward the hops in the finish...
M: Medium bodied, well carbonated and loads of taste
O: A good Pale overal.. Walking Man scores again..

Pint @ Chuck’s. Smells like biscuits. Tastes overly bitter. Like. Unpleasantly and florally bitter. Tastes fine I suppose, just not fantastic. mcberko (17847) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 28, 2012
Sampled on tap at The Taphouse, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of spiced apples and pears, citrus hops, and biscuity malts. Flavour is a tad stronger than a typical pale ale, with biscuity malts and very astringent hops - which steal the show. Very citric and bitter hops way out of balance. Good for what it is, but way out of balance.

GBBF. Also drank on the 3rd. Hazy amber beer with a little white head. Light dry palate. Nice caramel malt backbone. Floral hops with an interesting streak of pineapple. Whisper of tangerine. Finishes light and dry and with some grapefruit and orange marmalade bitterness. Bitter aftertaste. An interesting and tasty beer.
