On tap nice clear reddish Amber with a lasting light tan head. Light toast caramel malts. Modest hop bitterness. Clean palette. Not bad 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 1, 2016
Bottle:   Darker amber, sudsy white head, little lacing.   Faint biscuit, a little mealy and mustiness on the nose.   Similar tongue, moderately sweet.   Seems like a somewhat soft example.   Fairly clean.   A little soily or earthy on the finish, a bit malty, sweetness dies off.   Seems fairly respectable. stevoj (5272) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 9, 2016
Bottle from Homebrewstuff. Reddish brown pour, small, weak beige head. Malts dominate the aroma and taste, sweetness, like from molasses, minor earthy, peat notes. Not much of a finish, fades fast. nealblind (1867) - Seattle, Alabama, USA - FEB 4, 2016

Bottle. Medium Amber with golden highlights. Aroma of caramel and Brewers cereal, quite bready. Thin. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAR 5, 2015
Draught. Pours a mostly clear dark amber color with a smallish off white head on there. Nose is earthy and quite bready. Taste is also earthy and fairly heavy. Only ok, as this isn’t really my sort of thing. after4ever (8025) - Mukilteo, Washington, USA - JAN 23, 2015
12-oz. Thanks, A! Pours a hazy dark amber with a loose creamy tan head. Mild tangy sweet caramel nose. Creamy medium light body with flabby carb. Moderately toasty caramel with some unfermented malt sugar, some soft fruity notes from the hops. Tangy sweetish finish. Not very organized, and the hooker logo is a little tacky. 22oz bottle picked up at Yokes in Richland poisoneddwarf (2567) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - MAR 21, 2014
Pours clear reddish/dark golden with a small off-white head, some lacing. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel and dark fruit, some smokiness. Taste is similar, toasted malts, caramel, ashy and fruit
I wasn’t expecting much on this one but I was pleasantly surprised.
Bomber bought at Safeway on 4th in CDA, ID. Aroma is toasty, caramelly, biscuity. Pours clear copper with a medium collapsing beige head. Taste is like the aroma, very toasty especially. Starts out sweet before finishing on a lightly bitter hop note. Highly carbonated, medium body. Tasty. Seems a little underrated on here. I guess it might be a little bland for those looking for a complex taste experience, which this beer is definitely not intended to be. This is a straightforward malt-forward Irish ale, nothing more or less. Since Wallace got the brewer from Left Hand, their quality has improved in a big way. A lot of the negative reviews on here are from before, when they were, admittedly, a pretty poor brewery.
