bottle from brewery. Pale golden with small head. Lightly sweet. Mild wheat. Light banana and maybe a hint of clove. Rather dull, but inoffensive.

A pretty limp American pale wheat ale. Almost devoid of any beer character. Light wheat is about all you get.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange tinted yellow color with a large white creamy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus, faint caramel and slightly nutty. The taste is bread, citrus, caramel and a dry finish. Medium bodied.

Draft sample. Poured hazy amber with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate wheat, soft spice and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet malt flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Better soft beer.

On tap at Walldorff. Hazy Oberon-like appearance (orange-brown), thin, creamy off-white head. Nose of orange peel, citrus, coriander, and wet hay. Strong influence of orange peel and orange in the citrusy body, which also features potent coriander notes and bready, slightly tangy wheat malt. A touch of alcohol is detectable. A solid summer wheat beer, and one that would be appreciated by fans of Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat.
