Draught at the brewery. Dark brown color, white head. Sweet taste with chocolate, nuts, caramel and roasted malts. Bittersweet finish with chocolate and nuts. Very nice brown ale. patrick767 (4474) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - APR 6, 2008
tap at the brewpub - Pours dark brown with a mild caramel malt aroma. As expected the flavor is also dominated by the caramel malts. That’s usually what brown ales are all about. There’s minimal hops presence here. It’s light bodied and really uninspiring.
