2.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2016 12 ounce can. Pours a hazy deep golden color. The aroma is very estery and this must be fermented with an ale yeast, despite being called a pilsener. The taste is quite sweet with low hop character. There is a lingering sweetness from the generous use of crystal/caramel malts. Overall a nice beer, but nothing like Walter´s and not a pilsener.
bitter pine, kinda dirty and simple. Pretty sweet branding however, looks very oldschool. deyholla (11605) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 29, 2016
Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of straw, grains and hay with a slight sweetness. Flavor has sweet grains with light straw and hay supporting. bytemesis (8423) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - OCT 8, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear pale amber, medium creamy white head, nice lacing. Aroma of corn, grain, grass. Flavor is medium sweet, corny, little bitterness. Light body. RobertDale (6480) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - JUL 27, 2013
On tap. Comes a slightly cloudy pale gold with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, grain, and malt. Taste is similar. On the thin side for sure. Drinkable. pablo951 (672) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 23, 2013
Had it on tap at Northwoods BrewPub in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Poured a clear golden hue with a whisper white head and a aroma of "beer" circa 1975. Taste like a macro.

This pours a clear, golden yellow color with a slight, off-white head. There is a slight grain aroma but nothing too strong. The taste is very strong with raw grains. It’s fairly chalky and has a slight bitter finish. It also has a thin texture for very easy drinking. It’s not terrible, but it’s also not very good. wlajwl (6813) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Aroma is yeast, bread and light citrus, similar to a German Pilsner. The flavor is citrus, malts, mild hops and a beery/bitter finish. pkbites (947) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 14, 2012
This surprised me. Cloudy orangy pour with an off white head head. Lots of citrus hops in the nose. Flavor of citrus and some floral hops. Quick finish with a slight watery mouth-feel. Lightly bitter in the background. Very flavorful for the money. twindadplus2 (715) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 12, 2012
12 oz. can. Slightly hazy straw color with a big pillowy white head. Aroma of musty grain and a bit of sweet malt. Flavor is watery grain and really not much else. I guess it doesn’t suck but that’s about all you can say about it.
