Pours crystal clear gold with nearly no head. Huge amounts of diacetyl and some DMS. Even worse is some butyric acid. Taste is of buttered popcorn and minerals. Little in the way of malt backing and only a faint bitterness that lingers into the finish. Bule (2188) - California, USA - FEB 23, 2015
12oz bottle pours a slightly hazy pale straw color. Finding it difficult to find much flavor in here.

Tried off tap at the little bar next door to the BeerWorks. Clear pale golden body with short lasting head. Crisp taste with not a lot of body, pleasant bitterness makes it fairly easy to drink.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold colour with a short white head, aroma is floral and hoppy, taste is light with fruit with a crisp bitter finish. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 9, 2014
The head is medium, the body golden. It smells maltaromatic, bit spicy, sweet. The taste is spicy, malty, hoparomatic, bit bitter. Medium. chinchill (5071) - South Carolina, USA - JAN 14, 2014
4.6% ABV 330 ml brown bottle purchased in Wanaka and consumed a day later in Queensland NZ. BB date of ? 2014.
Pours clear amber with a smallish, bubbly, short-lived, off-white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Floral hops, sweet malts, and a trace of vanilla.
Flavor: Very good balance even though it is sweeter than, say, a typical Czech pilsner. The hops do dominate eventually in the mildly bitter aftertaste.
Feel: medium-light body; lightly crips and smooth; good, medium carbonation.
O: a good pilsner with a sweet caramel malt twist.

A most foul aroma of popcorn, yogurt, creamed corn / DMS and butter / diacetyl... pretty much no hop or malt presence to be found. Medium-light body, medium bitterness, dry, husky and silty texture. Mild acid on the palate confirms diacetyl and a sour graininess grows as it opens. Pretty awful stuff and not worth more than a few minutes with. From bottle.

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2013 A very nice brewery with two great guys running this plant. Owned by a belgian/Swiss couple. They produce for local market. Though, at the time visiting they only had the 3 populair ones and not the great ones as it was waiting to be bottled. The Beers i tasted where just ok, nothing special. Keep up the good works guys!
