3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
A hazy roseat hue with a greyish white that lasted for an extremely short time. The aroma isnít of conventional cherry as I was expecting. It smells of rosehip really. Itís perfumy, but not an attack on the senses. Full, pillowy mouthfeel with lots of carbonation and then soft sweet, tangy cherries. Not big juicy supermarket cherries, but maybe sour Montmorency cherries that give it a cherryvite flavour. As it sits on the palate it gains more and more tang and dwells happily for ages. Itís quite interesting feeling the tang travel around the mouth and then disappear slowly down your throat.
This beer should turn out to be a boon for introducing beer styles to New Zealand women. Despite the name, I think men will be in for a bit of this too.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Tasted this at the Dunedin Beer Festival and not really a huge fan of this. The banana from the wheat and the hyper sour cherry flavor do not go together at all in my opinion. The cherry is too sharp and sour, the palate is watery and thin, everything is slightly soapy... On the bright side itís a beautiful colour. Just not to my tastes I think.
